I agree on Marco. He was 'almost' a Rayburn. Knew the family in a way other investigators could not, especially John and Meg. Knows he was lied to by all of them. Smelled a major rat. I would love to see him linger in a coma … just to rattle the hell out of all of them in Season 3 that he might wake up. Kevin in

John's rant about being the only responsible one is the same rant he gave to Danny on the beach. I recognized it, immediately. Genius re-use of dialog from the writers, beautifully acted by Mr. Chandler. It reminded me of what John is capable of doing. Meg recognized it, too. John could snap again and kill her

I think Robert asking Danny to choose between Nolan and the restaurant had something to do with Robert feeling like he too often had to choose between Danny and the Inn (with Sally). As for Gilbert's presence in the finale? I didn't mind it. A major set up to Season 3.

I agree. His hair looks greyer this season. And not that much time had elapsed between seasons 1 and 2.

Of course it's still a slow burn. Just like KZK's previous show, Damages. In the sticky heat of the Florida Keys? It works.

That's what was missing!

I've said it for years. Kyle Chandler would be soooo good as Atticus Finch.

D.R. Drake reminded me. Add Justified (Amazon Prime) to my list!!! And Deadwood.

Agree 1000 percent!! Love me some Justified.

Here, here on Jane the Virgin, Catastrophe, and Friday Night Lights. Why wasn't Bloodline (Netflix) included? Or Orange is the New Black, etc.? Rectify?

It's kind of hard to have hot chemistry when the line most said by Jacinda Barrett is, "I know how difficult this is for you."

Left out Bloodline. I'd pick episode 12 as the best of the season.

SPOILERS!! I've now binge watched the entire first season. I agree. The Manson part of the story is the least true, least interesting part of the story. However, it's worth sticking with as the relationships with the LAPD and Detective Squad take shape with some good and true-to-the-times story telling. The

Especially with so many flash forwards, flash backs. ;)

It's my interpretation only.
I corrected the post for a possible spoiler. Truly sorry about that, Scrawler. No harm intended.

There are no spoilers given.

I was thinking that one of the family secrets is: John and Meg are half brother and sister to Danny and Kevin. ;)

Keep watching. :)

It was more of a plot device to introduce the entire Rayburn clan, in days of yore.

Ben Mendelsohn does indeed give a hell of a performance deserving of an Emmy nod.
