I have an 18-month-old and a 1-month-old. A lady who actually had twins told me that what I was doing was like raising twins. I really can’t imagine how hard it would be to be pregnant with 2 babies or care for 2 newborns. But all siblings I’ve ever known that are so close in age have been very close.

I had a big baby so mine looked like a 3-week old straightaway. I think it depends on how full the face is - smaller babies tend to look more alien. Also, agree that most look similar UNLESS there is an unfortunate feature they inherited which is noticible immediately (dad’s weak chin, mom’s original nose).

Having birthed 6 babies I partly agree with you.... I have relatives send me undated pictures of infants and ask which one it is only to realize that I often had no idea. I could narrow down based on factors like color of clothing, amount of hair etc...

I didn’t notice the italics in the title at first, and I was all, “Whoa, rude!"

But you’ll make a comment on a post about one - that’s SO interesting.

all babies look the saaaaaaaaaame

Yeah, there’s one stashed in a closet at my parent’s house. To ebay I go...

Yeah, no. My family comes from a similar background to yours. Only the worst of the feral cats were put down, most actually cooperated and killed mice, rats, chipmunks. Any farm and hunting dogs were retired and then ceremoniously put down on their very last leg, not as soon as they were deemed “useless”. They at

Seriously. My family are cattle ranchers and we fucking love our animals. Just because you're in a farming profession doesn't mean you need to be sociopath killing every animal in sight. OP has some fucked up ideas.

Did your dad go around showing people photographs of himself grinning and holding up the defenseless animals he’d killed? Because, if so, your dad might be a sociopath.

My grandfather owned a farm in Mexico. He NEVER killed his dogs. One of his dogs had a terminal disease once and the vet said it was useless and my grandma kept it at home and took care of it until it died. #notallmexicanranchers

WTF is wrong with you? You think it's purely the curious emotional attachment to cats as pets that makes people angry, and not the fact that a vet just cruelly, violently, needlessly, and illegally killed an animal? You suck.

There’s stoic duties in farming, but there certainly was room for empathy and consciousness raising. Just cause “that’s the way it’s been done” doesn’t mean outsiders won’t stick their nose in and tell you it’s time for a change—and take routes to insist you WILL cooperate or face consequences. We are our brother’s

It’s a bummer that you mistakenly feel like people can only care about one thing at a time AND that you think animals are merely some sort of Cartesian clockwork tool you can dispose of when they are no longer “useful.” I see your smug self-righteousness and raise you an “I think your callous disregard for life is

a.) It is, in fact, possible to care about more than one thing at a time. I am absolutely outraged by police brutality and murder of persons of color. Way more outraged by that than this cat. That doesn’t mean I don’t think it is also fucked up that a vet would hunt stray cats for sport w a bow and arrow and post

No. It really isn’t.

Oh please, this is not the same thing as ranching/farming families. She’s smiling with an animal she killed without reason.

Did your dad take photos of him smiling every animal he killed. I hope not. Because the fact that she celebrated killing is the sick part.

The hate some people ave for feral cats is incredible. I mean yes, they are a nuisance, but the only reason there are so many of them is our inability to spay/neuter our pets, so its our own damn fault.
