It would be better if the tire rules weren’t messing up the on track running. Drivers could stay out, pounding out the laps while the countdowns occur. As intended.

The clunk was probably one of the control arm bolts on the mount on the body. Retorque it. Did it sound like it something was hitting the floor?

Good luck with your leaf spring bolts. If your XJ is as rusty as you say, they will be a nightmare. Also, the rear upper shock mounts are going to snap off as soon as you touch them. Both have easily findable solutions on the forums.
