With the combination of us airlines and American there are now many more one works flights out of my airport, I would switch in a heartbeat but don't want to give all the perks…

also helps with Global Entry, so I am a part of a program. And if you funnel all rewards- hotel, rental cars etc. it helps add up. I don't use the credit cards though, the Capital One travel one is the best I've seen- double miles and use it for any travel or amazon cards.

When I frequently traveled along the east coast, there was almost no point in being a part of a program as the points just didn't add up. It made more sense to look for direct flights and ideal arrival/departure times regardless of airports.
