I was totally going to mention Bill Paxton as a big gripe, but it seems like heresy given how beloved he is. He’s great in other stuff, but not here.

He recently was posting about it on Twitter - maybe the anniversary of its release? Anyway, I retweeted him or quote-tweeted him or whatever and he liked my tweet, so I got that going for me which is nice. I’d wager he remembers a whole bunch as he put a hell of a lot of work into it.

Absolutely one of greatest film musicals of all time and maybe (gasp) my favorite of DePalma’s. It is so gloriously nuts from top to bottom. And way cooler than Rocky Horror.
