Wealth taxes, while they might sound good in theory, are very poor in practice. Then again, if it sounds good in theory but not in practice was it ever really good in theory? We have actual evidence of this not working too so it’s not a theoretical exercise.

People who book Basic Economy have to acknowledge THREE TIMES that the product does not include a seat assignment. I have ZERO sympathy for people who purchase a product based on price and then complain about the terms they willingly agreed to.

Had a guy on Southwest that wanted my aisle seat near the back.  I was in the B boarding group, he was probably in C.  I said no, but you can have the open middle.  Another reason I prefer assigned seats so as not to have to deal with entitled Southwest cult customers.
