I’ve always had a problem with people complaining about the ending of BSG because “angels make no sense in sci-fi”. Starting with the pilot, the show is constantly talking about free will and the possibility of unseen forces and “people in your head” that help guide you.

I feel like the show ended up in a place that was a lot different from when it started, which was pretty much “a bunch of friends who hang out together” type of sitcom, but then started feeding off of it’s own memes/hype ( “it’s a show about nothing!” “these people are actually terrible!”).  Making fun of a carjacking

One of the things that irked me about Will Smith Aladdin is the Prince Ali number, which looks like it could be a colorfully stunning and interesting choreographed number, but the camera shots cut so quickly that you never really get a chance to settle in and watch the choreography, and everyone just kind of comes off

You probably should watch Mulan. It is probably the furthest thing you’ll see with regards to it being a “live action remake” of the original cartoon. It has a lot more in common with Asian wire-work sword and fantasy films than a musical.

The concept of “it’s odd that professional reviewers would be confused by the rules” is really not a true take. Im going to argue that there is no such thing as a professional board game reviewer.... They are just hobbyists with a YouTube channel, trying to make a side dollar of their hobby. (Technically, I guess they

For the most part, no one had any idea what a Lost Ark was back in 1982 ( or whenever) aside from Noah’s Ark.

I just spent two nights puzzleing and fighting my way through a very linear sky map.

Frankly I grew tired very quickly of trying to figure out how to get a simple cart to work....I spent enough hours in my days at work trying to engineer things to work correctly that I don’t need to spend my free time fighting with wacky button configurations and viewports to stick a wheel on a cart ( granted, the game

LInk could be the worst hero ever in fiction.

Apple’s terms of agreement regarding iPhones shakes it’s tiny fist in disapproval.

I’ve always wondered why streaming services pull content. I had always assumed that keeping the content around was pretty cheap aside from whatever server costs there was where that content was stored....but that server costs would just be the same anyway if you were putting it into digital storage.

Except that generally those things for ultra high end guest are pretty sharply focused and targeted to a small amount of effort for the most part. It doesn’t really take that much staff to deal with someone who wants to spend the night at cinderellas castle or have Wolfgang Puck serve you dinner at a private Cooking

I just find it strange that a Bond girl from 20 years ago would be selected to play a teenage mermaid.

I kind of wish that there wasn’t so much obvious cgi, and more in-camera effects/practical effects ala Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Whatever looks like fun quickly gets dampened by visuals reminding me of the Paul Feige Ghostbusters.

I spent 4 hours in a shrine last night just trying to build a raft with the fans, and then the fans broke off when I pulled part the wrong log. The fans were still running and then they sank to the bottom of the water filled chamber our of reach of my hand. At that point I said “screw this”.  I have enough problems

I find the whole “you can’t (temporarily) kill a character off during a specially nominated month” really kind of reaching for complaining. For example, what celebrations has this website done so far on a daily basis in honor for AAPI month? If gizmodo isn't celebrating it in any meaningful way, why would you expect a

The way the Sky Island is constructed I found to be very un-intuitive. In most of the early BotW, you just set your sights on a target and walk there, possibly skirting around a lake here or there. It was pretty straightforward to just walk to that nearest tower or church or wherever.

Have no interest in seeing this film. James Cameron loves showboating about how he’s the King of all Cinema and we should be so lucky that he has made this marvelous film for us. A little late to the party don’t you think? That ship sailed a long time ago and many audiences could care less about these characters and

The only reason Christmas Story got made was..... the studio demanded that the director of Porkys come back to make the sequel, and director negotiated that he would do the sequel on the condition that the studio would back his Christmas Story project.

Yeah, Moonraker is awful....and Diamonds Are Forever is junk...except that real pleasure of Diamonds Are Forever is watching a movie take place in 1970 Vegas, where Vegas is still this podunk dusty gambling town and they attempt and fail to make Circus Circus a high brow gambling establishment.
