So, DC will finally get all their ducks in a row right at the same time the superhero movie market collapses? ( especially if you read the internet about the underwhelming performances of current Marvel fair, it’s already begun  )

I may be thinking of different eras, but I feel like, sure the after-school cartoons were clearly toy marketing schemes, but most of the Saturday morning shows weren’t. Were shows like Goldie Gold and Laff-a-lympics really pushing toys? Aside from occasional lunchbox, was there actually a line of Scooby Doo/Scrappy

Well concept is more realistic than "guy travels around the universe to collect 6 stones which will kill exactly half the the universe".

I want to say almost all cartoons at that time had characters turning into things. Or cars that were living. Or animals and cavemen that talked.

“Morning Zoo”, sports talk, political jibber jabber and other forms of entertainment radio DJs typically need to be “on” 3 to 5 hours a day 5 days a week.

If you are too lazy or narrow-minded to “treat people with respect”, then yeah, I guess being woke is a miserable, terrible thing.

I guess I don’t understand the desire for a “perfect simulation” and then complain when a player accidentally trips someone on their own teams. It feels like that actually IS a good simulation of the wacky random stuff that actually happens in a live football game; there’s always weird little trippings, blocking

personally, I never go this feeling because if you view it as an ending of the complete story over the three movies ( which is how the whole project was shot and conceived), it’s fine.

The idea that the Sorcerer Supreme has all these regulations and rules about using magical powers and artifacts and whatnot for fear of being magically corrupted, but doesn’t include “using your powers to make money for personal gain in illegal fight clubs” is kind of funny.

Ask Top Gun Maverick about the time lapse.

I picked up Tabletop Simulator to play the Arkham Horror Card Game solo and potentially to play online....it’s amazing what people have done in TTS just to make AH remotely presentable, given how complicated AH is.

Also, increasing WFH for bus drivers, for some reason, meant more kids being stranded at bus stops.  WFH is terrible if you want things to get done.

a film that’s absolutely esstential to this show, as well as the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but is rarely discussed because it stars Edward Norton instead of Mark Ruffalo.”

I’ve never read Guillermo as being gay, really. I’ve always read him as this shy and insecure and mostly asexual who found vampirism as an instant fix to cure him of his insecurities ( which makes the Van Helsing reveal all the more fun). His man-crush on Nandor was more about being in awe of this “great warrior who

I’m still amazed that Twitter has 8000 employees.

Maybe popular ones, but there were others: Roc, for example was a black cast led by a garbage man. 227, I think the Bernice Mac show.

Why is “not enough diversity” always seem to be boiled down to “not enough blacks?” instead of all colors. What about Hispanics, east Asians, native Americans, Palestinians?

I feel like that’s kind of standard sitcom storytelling more than anything with malice.

It’s going well enough in court ( where things like “contract law” matters) that Musk has decided he’d rather challenge Twitter to debate things online in front of his fans( where things like “contract law” doesn’t matter).

This sounds less like “playing Netflix games” and more like “clicking on an ad within netflix” to buy a free game.
