Wandering around from job to job is great!

Old not-used-anymore-tunnels-under-cities are very cool!
It always bugged me that the Penguin managed to get the actual designs for the Batmobile in the second Keaton Batman movie like he picked them up from the library or something. It’s seem like you could easily track down who Batman is based on that information.
Nah. It’s even simpler than that. You can’t just fast follow ( or in this case slow follow) a popular social app and expect the user count to instantly show up in the numbers that are needed to pay the structure it’s running on. Much a targeted subgroup "Twitter for X" "Facebook for Y".
The united states is a middle-income, heavily Westernized liberal democracy - overwhelmingly Christian, including a sizeable chunk of Mormons... And there are plenty of sites that of considered off-limits due to respect of religion and traditions of native American tribes and Hawaiians.
I don’t understand if scientists were studying this volcano/merged island for years....why didn’t they have seismometers on the island? That seems like one of the first pieces of equipment you bring along on a volcano study expedition.
I can’t help to think now that what would be fun for a season or two is have the doctor “split” into two new doctors during a regeneration, with the show ping ponging back and forth between two separate adventures and companions, with occasional crossovers and companion swapping...but the rule would be something like…
Anakin killing people makes me feel unconfortable. That shouldn’t exists in Star Wars.
I was under the impression that there was a point where Boba Fett’s Tuskan’s bascially said they were nice Tuskan Raiders...that they were tribe that existed by hiding out in the dunes instead of being Raiders like the other tribes of Tusken Raiders.
Not having seen the fourth episode yet, I’m still having a hard time figuring out what this show wants to be halfway through.
I liked that they used Bill S. art for inspiration of Kingpin in Spiderverse.
Yep. I’m pretty convinced that whoever is in management making these decisions has never even tried to visit this website over a mobile connection at this point.
Original Lost in Space....but the season 2 and 3 (in color!) version by a young John Williams. Graphically not that interesting, but the song is amazing (and oh! That countdown!)
For "flash forwards": Off the top of my head immediately, the original Mission Impossible, and I think Wild Wild West.
I don't understand why Martin Freeman can't be black panther.
I’m not sure how you can say that it “didn’t arrive at anything.”
I find it strange that we demand voice actors be the same ethnicity of the secondary characters they play, but are okay with men playing the voice of primary female characters in this show.
I feel like “first disasters worth billions of dollars” is such a terrible metric to use, given things like inflation.
That was my experience, too, from only watching the movie without reading the comics. I never really understood what was so cool about “A kind of a jerk guy has 6 video game inspired boss battles”. At least Zach Snyder superhero movies tried to put some plot between the fights.
Really, most of those were dead before covid. Netflix, for example, really is the only company that has been making John Hughes-ish teen romantic comedy comedies in the last 5 years or so.
