A) I guess I’m getting tired of hearing the excuse that Whedon is terrible ( he may very well be ) because he wasn’t allowed in the room alone with teenage actors...because that’s pretty much a film production standard for every Hollywood production.

‘I can’t promise you I won’t get physical again. God I f**king sometimes get so mad I lose it.’ Depp said.

Either acknowledge that you said something dumb and apologize or have the stones to own it.

I’m just curious why you would use her real name here instead of her professional name...do you do that with all actors and entertainers?

I hated it because so much of the movie was spent on illogical craziness entirely put together on a computer and that it never really felt like a “place” for lack of a better term. Once they get to the factory, it’s just a long CG demo reel. The Gene Wilder version actually felt like a factory tour.

Yeah, I never thought about it much, but the fact that almost every scenario’s goal is “kill everything to win” really makes whatever the story is pointless. Each chapter might as well start with “Your bloodlust rises again! With a scream of Leroy Jenkins you enter the cave/forest/hidden tavern/ect” and just be done

I’m just curious if anyone who writes at AV Club even knows how movies are actually made when it comes to financing films.

Yeah, Gloomhaven generally did a good job of doing weird things with races/species without the typical “bosomy warrior woman who wears no armor” kind of thing. But I’m not sure how many people really care about the story, given that’s it’s pretty much just an on-the-rails-to-the-next-miniature-tactical-battle kind of

There’s always Melissa McCarthy

The bigger issue is that Disney is planning all these spin-offs and none of them are called “Grogu”.

Still waiting for that Buckaroo Bonazii versus the World Crime League movie

Stockard Channing was 33 when she was in Grease. Oliva Newton John was 29.

Now playing

Silent Hill slot machines are starting to roll out in Las Vegas.

Now playing

Only if it’s 100 kids versus 2 Gladiators or something.

And don’t forget the stereotypical “Doc” who wears old timey glasses.

somebody along the way should’ve objected to framing an entire ride around a thing that people have a lot more objections to now than they did 80 years ago.

If kids run are around quoting Brave or Coco mimicing those character’s accents, is that really inherently racist?

Except that it’s an industry standard practice that all minor actors need to be accompianied with another adult on movie sets.

Well, a big part of the Fisher thing is that much of his complaining was centered around how much of his character was removed from the Whedon version....which happens ALL OF THE TIME in movies...as proof of wrongdoing.

I have had a couple different people on Facebook that they get all of the information from “all of the news” ( unlike liberals who only watch CNN and the main networks ). In all cases, when asked to list what “all the news” means, it is Fox News, OANN, and Joe Rogan’s podcast, with 1 person also adding Dan Bongino.
