so epic wants to create an app that will let you download other epic games, but Apple won’t let them....while the ios store is flooded with casino apps that let you download various slot machines and bingo games?

given that she is apparently indestructable in the final battles of both the first wonder woman movie and justice league (did she even get a scratch much less bleed in either of those films), why would she even need armor in the first place?

I rally felt like they should have kept that in the movie.

I honestly feel like anyone getting paid to write articles about the “greatest movie trailer of all time” really should do some research and watch, you know, movie trailers from history, instead of just typing “oh yeah, when I was kid 3 years ago, this is what I remember.”

I can’t help but think that best new way to Batman’s trauma is 2 hours of him sitting alone in his mansion, realizing that he was the one who killed his parents, and the whole stick-em-up mugging routine was just something he made up in his head to cover for his atrocities. And everyone just goes along with it because

Agreed. Electronic-y dubstep music is probably the exact opposite music you use when trying to create a feeling growing dread.

Sleepy hollow didn’t even last the first season before it went of the rails. It kind of proved that you can’t do an x-files show where all the weird stuff happens in a 20 mile radius.

I mean I would have thought that replacing rich white lesbian superhero with black homeless drug runner & addict LGBQT+ superhero would have generated some controversy and commentary. But nope, zip that I have seen.”

Netflix has both seasons of Galavant if you need even more of an Alan Menkin fix.

For me, it’s mostly because half the movie was CGI people powerfully punching indestructible people to no effect, and the only solution in all of the DC Snyder films is “next time...PUNCH HARDER”. The Snyder cut isn't going to change that.

Prestige is my number one movie of all time for various reasons. It’s a period piece that feels like it really captures the period and seems like a part-time history lesson. It slowly turns into a sci-fi movie without you realizing it. It does a good job of explaining the daily grind and “mechanicalness” of being a

The Brendan Fraser Mummy movie came out at roughly the same time as Phantom Menace....and it just made Phantom Menace just seem so dour and lifeless. You could feel that everyone on the Mummy seemed to be having a fun time making that movie while it felt like everyone on the Phantom Menace was just reading lines in

Me too!

I felt that it was a decent enough movie, but that only seemed to exist as window dressing to FINALLY REVEAL! all those nagging mysteries about a character who works better as an unreliable narrator spinning those mysteries. Which is funny, because I think it’s probably a better movie if you know nothing about Han

I mean, we’ve been in Trolls World Tour, but we’re not, like, accomplished voice actors.”

Lego models that you build and never touch again is pretty much the entire lego catalog at this point ( I have a whole of Lego city building models)

The GoT game is a streamlined version of Diplomacy ( which isn’t a bad thing).

Most Peter Parkers in the movies really did have the wrong calling of trying to be a photojournalist, when they really should have concentrated their efforts on textile manufacturing. The details in the suit that Raimi’s Parker has is pretty amazing for DIY homebrew.

I would argue that you can’t compare VO work with live-action work. In the case of the Simpsons which has so many background characters that only show up to say a line or two, it’s probably more cost effective to just never show some of those characters again because of the cost involved of hiring another VO actor
