For me, it’s mostly because half the movie was CGI people powerfully punching indestructible people to no effect, and the only solution in all of the DC Snyder films is “next time...PUNCH HARDER”. The Snyder cut isn't going to change that.

I would argue that you can’t compare VO work with live-action work. In the case of the Simpsons which has so many background characters that only show up to say a line or two, it’s probably more cost effective to just never show some of those characters again because of the cost involved of hiring another VO actor…
