I hope we found out the contrived way she decides on her last name.

Was Han Solo a “leader” of the Rebel Alliance at that point?
She plays a young woman who drops out of college to live in a Chinese monastery. When she comes back, she finds her hometown has been overrun with crime, so she must deal with that, as well as an assassin who is targeting her. The plot sounds like it’s got roots from the original.
The Fall of Magic scroll is pretty amazing. It’s not just a scroll....it’s 6 FEET worth of a scroll! And it has an underground system that is printed ON THE BACK OF THE SCROLL in the same location as the underground entrances are on “the surface”.
“that it was damn near impossible for black people to go around their own homes looking like werewolves.”.
I’ve always liked the way the Xindi season played out, by reversing the traditional “continuity” story form by making the continuity story the B or C plot of the episode instead of the main plot.
That’s sort of my sense.... In world where people didn’t like tLJ because it “subverted expectations” or whatever, now everyone has decided that what they really want is a farcical comedy peppered with sex jokes to be a Star Wars movie.
How do things like John Wick and Fast and Furious even get made nowadays when you don’t have a studio executive saying “Yeah, my grandfather remembers watching that show in the 60s”.
Heck, that whole Rob Liefeld era of “mutant” comics makes no sense really. Let’s take a concept of mutants, where people are born with wacky special powers, and give most of them...guns and swords? He should’ve been working on G.I. Joe.
I’ve got to disagree with that.I actually find Rogue One to be the best of all Star Wars movies, slightly edging out Empire Strikes Back.
I hope the Nadja doll stays around for the whole season. That thing is so wonderfully hilariously creepy it’s great.
Yep, that's my take too...I liked TLJ except for a few parts, and otherwise was fluctuated with being bored or annoyed with ROS depending on what part of the movie you are taking about, but I never considered the actors as being bad in them. Both Daisy and Adam I think were actually pretty strong for a CGI action…
Yeah, the Channel Zero stories are really good at “slow-burn dread” horror if you are bored with jump scares.
KLAX!
The few times that bikes have been used ( I think mostly on Fear ) it mostly comes off as circus performers.
The definition of a road movie really doesn’t have anything to do with time-in-a-vehicle ( otherwise Fast and Furious movies would count). It’s more about characters leaving an insulating “home” and discovering a bigger world out there through various pit stops on a path which also informs new discoveries within those…
Oh man, I forgot that Muppet Movie is pretty much a classic Broadway “we’re puttin’ on show!” road movie.
If we are just adding random road movies, I'd like to The Sure Thing. And actually, Sex Drive turned out to be a decent similar movie.
Actually, I now want to see a the Resistance make a giant C3P-O, so large that when he stands on a planet, he reaches up and crushes a death star. How did they build it without no one noticing? I guess the same way Palpatine built his fleet.
Isn’t that sort of what happened at the end, when you realized that Palpatine had this amazing 20 year long plan put together, which seems kind of silly for some who can force lightning entire fleets of starships?
