Farmville : Fury Road must be your jam. If you go to the “Bullet farm” you have to plant a bunch of carrots.

I think that the dust storm sequence at the end, what makes it feel real is that the camera stays at a distance at vehicle level, pretty much like any footage you see if a tornado from tornado chasers.
Yeah. I think this is what is intriguing about it. The film doesn’t include any “wacky spinning camera move flying all over the place because we did it all in CG anyway so we can awe-inspire you by moving a camera through a series of gears in a pocketwatch and up and down a chimney” kind of thing. The camerawork is…
Yep. I still enjoy watching The First Avenger because Joe Johnson just knows how to get all of that sappy sepia-toned Americana just right.
“Lady In White” is such an excellent simple ghost story movie.
So, once again, in all the vast universe of planets in the world of Star Wars, all interesting stories are connected by about 6 people and 2 droids?
But hey, at least we get to gaze at the lovely Richard E. Grant’s First Order Allegiant General Pryde!
I prefer GOTG1 simply because it’s fun watching the universe all deal with the smartassiness of Starlord. For some reason, in GOTG2, EVERY character became a smartass with smartass one-liners.
“Oh, oh that’s interesting. Turns out, you can’t solve war by punching it in the face. ” Then like literally a second later, the very next line is the villain’s essentially saying: “Surprise one-eighty, I’m punching you in the face!”
Well, except that from a technical point of view virtually EVERYTHING in the media market is pushing envelopes, and not just Disney. There‘s a good chance that most car commericals aren’t even made with real cars any more. http://archive.themill.com/portfolio/3002/the-blackbird%C2%AE
I can’t even think of a Disney movie that “pushes the limits” of animation recently. I guess what they are thinking of is weird little technical stuff like “we created a new kind of ice shader for this movie” or something.
“Get the film wrong and it could damage the legacy of a franchise that’s become absolutely beloved.” said no movie executive ever.
What Abram’s idea of “more” really entails remains to be seen,
While I don’t mind Frozen ( except for the big “FOR LOVE!” part at the end which makes absolutely no sense, no it’s pretty clear that you were losing control of your powers because you feared them not because you were lacking love), I do think that Tangled is a better movie overall. Right now, I already find many of…
While not defending the Mai outfit, I have to ask, as far as Smash Bro characters go, how much do you expect to get from their character designs of ANY character “as a person?” That’s just a silly argument.
I’ve noticed this kind of review in a lot of tech reviews that goes like this:
What’s worse, where the hell is Jericho's puffy shirt and WWF belt?
Ina universe that the SW movies focus on the knights of Ren, io9 would be writing articles entitled “why aren’t we getting SW movies with a female protagonist.” Or something.
I’m not convinced that “most” movies cost $200+M. Just the ones that garner big-time press and shoot the moon for expected $1 billion gross and top grossing movie of the year honors.
Or, people could just not post random memes.
