Sixteen Candles always felt like it belonged more on the “screwball comedy” list than the rom-com list to me, considering that so much of that movie is exaggerated comedy and not really meant to be taken seriously. To analyze it as some sort of date-rape acceptance movie is weird.

Except that the tradition of an actor “secretly” playing multiple roles in a film is a pretty long one, I think. If that kind of stuff really concerns you and runs the movie watching experience, then maybe visiting movie rumor sites would be a better place to start.

Why wouldn’t I be. Apple has two notchless phones and one with a notch ( copied from Android I presume for those who like that sort of thing ). I just want to know how to turn the notch off on my model ( the XS) when it appears on screen.

Sorry, but I’m not on an android phone...I get to change my homescreen photo...but there’s no reason why my dog’s forehead should get cut off just because I’m not using an apple background image.

Does anyone know where the setting is to turn off the notch? I really want my new iphone to look like those commercials with the jazzy music, but the notch keeps re-appearing.

I’ve often wondered that since “fun football” is all about gunslinging the ball around, as opposed to defensive slog fests, why don’t people push for changing football’s rules to only have 10 defenders on the field?

Frankly, from most of the his blog posts I’ve seen, they aren’t really of the humorist variety, but more of the “I’m a proud libertarian ( who only votes Republican )“ type, with quite a bit of “how the mainstream media gets it wrong” conspiracy theory mixed in for good measure.
