Meh, the Clue VCR Game story was more entertaining.

I don’t think critical opinion has changed much ( like, real movie critics), just that the internet opinion has changed. As other examples, Ghostbusters 2 and Clue are somehow regarded as classic by the internet nowadays but I remember seeing those in the theater and thinking, “man, these movies are marginal at best.”

I’m curious...when I know that there’s a extended length episode on, I find myself less interested in watching the show, and more interested in playing a game where I try and figure out which scenes are going to get cut to bring the episode back down to 45 minutes for syndication. Does anyone play this game?

Darkman is a pretty amazing movie. I remember seeing it in the theaters and there’s still so many scenes that are burned in my memory ( in a good way ) that many movies nowadays don’t, simply because CGI makes “audacious” shots and scenes too easy to produce after the fact.

I cam here to say exactly this. Animation usually involves things....animating, or at least moving once in a while. Ken Burns still-photo documentaries have more animation than this trailer.
