FORMER WIZARDS?!
FORMER WIZARDS?!
I grew up thinking that a college degree was going to get me a job because my entire life I was encouraged to work really hard in school because going to a good college and getting a degree was the only way to get a good job. My parents, my teachers, the television, websites, teen magazines, etc. all told me that.
Dave Navarro's hair looks so luxurious.
It also is probably a place where she can do community service that won't immediately be swarmed by paps.
Right? I think she looks adorable too.
Yeah, his ~distant Native American background~ didn't get pulled out until people were pissed that a white dude was cast in the biggest NDN part in Twilight.
This post is pretty much what my brain sounds like when I watch movies. Which probably makes me a downer.
Yeah, it's totally weird, man.
This comment...actually has made me the most hopeful I've felt about the future in a long time. Thanks.
I think this is pretty reasonable — it would keep her from being doggedly hounded the way that her refusing all appearances would eventually lead to, and keeps her afloat financially.
Bingo.
Legally, this is the point that I feel many 'Men's Rights Activists' miss — child support is /for the child/, who had no say. Whether or not the father agreed to to parent a child, the child exists, and the financial responsibility is ostensibly for supporting said child.
This is exactly how I read it.
This is an awesome idea! Just make sure they get replaced every so often.
Why are the soundtracks to Twilight so hip and cool? Is there a big crossover between indie music hipsters and vampire Harlequin lovers?
haha it waws The Head & the Heart, so I wasn't expecting it!
I love this stuff — it's amazing and as a brass player, it's way better for me than medicated or minty lipbalms.
Right. That's why maybe some dude comedy show hosts should probably do their part to hire some more lady writers, thus encouraging more ladies to enter the field because it doesn't look incredibly hostile and nonviable as a career choice.
Sort of, but those aren't particularly apt comparisons as all of those positions are government institutions, and thus women were explicitly included as part of the armed services — women's branches were created, thus making spots for women available.
How do you get experience in an industry that's notoriously anti-woman? Would you apply for a writing spot on these shows knowing that a year ago, no women were even on staff?
