@smashsparkle: The vision of a person all bloodied, yelling that, is amazing.

@pastanaut: That would be incredibly difficult with the disparities in style and athleticism of play between women's and men's elite level basketball.

@Princess Leela: The women's basketball team has always been the epitome of talent and class, man. Go buff & blue!

Aww, G-Dub! I'm so glad to see the positive responses to this story here, y'all, and I'm super proud of my alma mater (also a little excited because I totally tipped this story).

@ParkPlace: He's getting top surgery this summer, and planning on starting hormone therapy after his senior year of play. Hormone use reclassifies the entire team as "mixed gender" and renders it (if it is a man playing for a women's team) unable to participate in NCAA women's competition.

This article really summed up some of the issues I had with the rally, man.

@BioLady: This rally was pretty far from satirical, I felt.

@zaika: Dude, congrats on the triathlon!

@Dialogue_Dub: Really? What part of it didn't work for you?

I like the part where she says that people can be naturally slim, but fat people are just obviously unhealthy because there's nothing natural about that.

@Memnon: I think you mean to say, "opinions are opinions."

@katkalls: This factoid blew my mind, man. Vanessa freaking Beecroft.

@lunchcoma: I would be so into that feature.

@ArcaneDigital: I don't really think "crippled" is nearly as applicable, and it's kind of out of date and offensive. Plus I would never say "I'm mentally crippled," that doesn't really convey a specific meaning to me. Physically, it's also more specific, like, "I'm not able to walk without a cane; I'm disabled."

@ShaynaLK: Uh...disabled normally does the trick.
