@tokyogirl: Pretty much, you don't, I've learned, unless it's something you can joke about. Some of my stodgier friends have accepted that I am just going to get on their cases if they are "un-PC" as they phrase it.

@LadyCoCo: I think "fat-talk" is different than just using fat as a descriptor — I also use the word fat when talking about my body, but I don't participate in conversations about how huge my thighs are, oh isn't belly fat horrible, etc.

@Copper: But...this already happens. There are already gay people in the military this happens to, only now they get discharged too.

People are already showering, rooming, etc., with gay people in the military, because DADT doesn't actually prohibit homosexuals from serving. Why would they need to change anything if all of that is okay now? :|
