There’s a pretty popular lifesize Surfer piece that shows up at comic shops. Judging from the background, I think this is a stand-up that was sent to movie theatres for that Fantastic Four movie.

Why is the A.V. Club so bad at this shit?

Because two documentary about the same subject aren’t sequels if they literally have nothing else in common? That would be like saying Floored, Inside Job, Hank: Five Years from the Brink, and Captalism: A Love Story were somehow all sequels to each other.

It’s “We are past the point” (signifying a present state of being using “past” as a preposition) or “We have passed the point” (the present perfect tense of the verb ‘to pass’). So the headline is correct.

Yea, did the headline writer even read the article? This is confusing, simply because the article makes plenty of sense on its own, but is obviously not written with the POV in mind of someone who’s expecting to hear news of the sequel.

Yea, I even kinda liked Warcraft. I was going to see this before, but the terrible critical reception (after I didn’t listen for Bright) means I likely won’t.

I guess? Outside of the dudes that have the Bowie aesthetic, I didn’t really see much of that. Sex-positive, sure, but but as far as gender presentation, nothing seemed terribly bold.

Now playing

Definitely. This was where I saw her. Despite the fact that nobody knew who she was yet... she had just signed with Bad Boy. And people went NUTS for her. That’s presence.

Ah, didn’t realize I needed to open another tab to read A.V. Club articles now.

Hahah that’s awesome. I saw her open at a Nas show in 2008 and have felt very emotionally invested in her success because she blew me away. So like you, I got worried when she just blew up as an actress in one year, haha.

Me as well!

What’s a Beats 1?

Which is the reddit meme where you post the same link over and over again?

Which part’s the gender-fluid part?

It’s pronounced Jim Bean

heh. “suburban boobs”

If only a social network would delete a tweet, thereby single-handedly circumventing World War III.

Everyone talking about going to the bathroom seems to be forgetting those large stretches of time when the crew yells at you if you try to go to the bathroom.

I get that. Wouldn’t mean to imply that. I think a better way to say it is replace “60%of them are white” with “40% of them are non-white”
