Ok, he's never said anything pro-MRA and he didn't say Stonewall didn't hurt the LGBT movement. He just said that it's not proof that violence solves things.

Well he said he didn't think it was the violence that ignored the situation, rather the organizing that followed. Sure, the organizing wouldn't have happened without the riots, but I also don't htink the situation would have improved if there were only riots and no organizing.
There's been at least two monologues of "Maybe I was wrong about that" from Sam since then. I kind of like seeing him struggle with things.
He didn't "well, actually" it. The person he was talking to tried to argue that Stonewall was proof that liberals are bad because they don't like throwing grenades at people. Spencer just tried to say that the gay community didn't throw the first punch at Stonewall, so it was different.
What are you talking about? Sam Wilson: Captain America is the most pro-Rage comic book I've ever read.
I actually LOVE the Sam book. I don't think HE's pussy-footing around. I think he's letting Sam pussyfoot around because of the pressure at being held as both a totem of black america and as the real Captain America. It's some nuanced stuff.
Also, maybe ther'es more than one way to tell a story?
Hank Pym and Bruce Banner were killed off in issues that almost no one read
How so? He doesn't respond well to death threats?
This is interesting, except that Nick Spencer is pretty fucking liberal.
Using confusing continuities as an excuse to see characters punch each other is pretty much the mission statement for modern comics.
Yea, people who think there's a such thing as a "bad story idea" are kind of ridiculous. Sure there are bad executions, but all ideas have potential to be good.
"Watchmen come to the DCU" is literally the only interesting thing DC has done in 8 years.
"the story feels even more like overt disrespect of the character’s creators"
Why would you want Wolverine access? Dude will slice your ass up.
I like that Lutz shows up on Seth Meyers every once in awhile.
If the worst film you've ever seen in the theatre has "Stunning visuals" then consider yourself lucky.
“In our episode Waldo comes second I think, or third. But he doesn’t win."
See, I hope that the GotG story was so simplistic just to introduce us to the world. My thinking is the sequel's going to be a lot more fun
