At the time they were made, the Viper was only production vehicle made by Chrysler that was faster.

This! You deserve all the stars.

Yep. Pedestrian scoop.

Do they have the option for engine and/or exhaust brakes on these vehicles? Or are those aftermarket add ons?

Or just drive slower while towing stuff.

The pickups will be almost the same size too. International is already there.

You forgot about planning the best strategy to create fake logbook entries so they can get more miles in that day.

The Renegade has 14 different engine/transmission combinations, so it would be interesting to see how they expand upon that.

Do they offer it on any of their newer platforms?

Many truckers will be quick to point out that driving is only one part of their job.

Yeah, but how many of those combinations will be sold in the US? I’m guessing two: 1.4L turbo with manual and the 2.4L with the 9 spd auto.

Other than giving regulatory reform some incoherent lip service, he mainly talks about punishing companies that don’t kowtow to his wishes and a simplistic tax platform. Rates are one thing, but compliance costs with a complex convoluted system have an impact as well.

Well it does help having ones competitors’ industrial centers blown to smithereens and your’s unscathed so you can spend the next few years selling them stuff to rebuild.

But how can anyone with just a HS diploma, a pulse and the initiative to show up everyday make the big bucks and afford a vacation home?

Is it hidden under other bits of packaging so people don’t notice like the rest of his stuff?

It is for now. Ford may decide later to produce higher margin vehicles at that plant or supplement capacity with models built in the México plant kind of like what Toyota does with Tacoma production.

They will just likely exit that market segment because their products are too expensive compared to the competition and few people will end up buying them. Sure, they may not go under, but they won’t be as strong as they would be if they had a diverse profolio of products.

A lot of people don’t understand that and think it’s all about wages. It gives Ford more flexibility and they can keep the high margin stuff in the US.

Waiting for dinner to arrive

The last time I picked up an AutoTrader at an Oxxo, Neons in México were being advertised for higher prices than in the US, which I though was interesting. I would need to check if the ones advertised were the 1.6L models though.
