“Officer, I didn’t intend to drive faster than the speed limit. I was just not paying attention. Listening to LaGrange on the radio does that to me.”

65? Don't you mean retiring at 55?
I haven’t read the article yet, but do they break down the average by cars, pickups, SUVs, and vans?
That was basically the premise around the “Bush Mechanics” TV series as well. http://m.imdb.com/title/tt030381…
The diagram at the top of this post makes it seems that the Parliament just votes on legislation.
There were people on the left that were for the Brexit as well as they felt multinational corporations had too much power and influence within the EU. It all comes down to one thing: control.
Or Ford truck owners with certain PowerStroke engines.
Do the auto manufacturers publish how many “white collar”people are working on the various models? If not, it would be difficult for them to factor that into this list like they can with people working at specific plants.
He’s the guy to the right of Greenspan
That’s Gawker
It is interesting that Summers thinks it is going to be worse for the EU.
The EU would still need to come up with a way to replace the billions that the UK sends them every year too. Germany isn’t going to want to pick up the tab for that. Will increased tarrifs help with that? Certainly, but if they are too high, it will make those products uncompetitive and kill off that revenue.
What nation is the source of all the ‘brown people’ from the EU?
There are left wingers who were in favor of the Brexit because they thought the large multinationals and the ECB had too much control over the EU.
But aren’t all the ‘dark people’ in the UK due to the agreements it has with the rest of the Commonwealth and not the EU? If that is the case, this doesn’t change any of that.
Why? It’s in everyone’s interest on both sides of the channel to keep the free trade aspect in place. The Europeans make a lot of money selling to the Brits and vice versa. Businesses are going to be pressuring the politicians on both sides of the negotiations to have something reasonable in place.
I just threw that in there because it used to be a requirement. I don't disagree with you, but it would be funny to see the poverty pimp politicians blow a gasket if that ever became law.
Another way to look at it is: the ones who experienced life without all the EU rules and regulations voted to leave. The ones who have only lived with those rules votes to stay with what they are familiar with.
And punish one of the biggest buyers of their stuff?
You could also throw in needing to own property while you’re at it.
