I hope we do this on a federal level. Like Postal and telecom protection laws. I think a movement to do this would be effective like the huge Net Freedom response that many blogs and companies openly supported.

Or...or..and here's an idea. Just like the people on the internet reared up on their hind legs over Net Freedom, why not have a movement to keep their personal accounts private and not be a factor on getting or keeping a job?

You know, people write crap like "womens are better people and if only womens would be womens which are different from mens and somehow it would all work out" - they write this because there is no immediate need in their lives for anything to change. They aren't feeling any pain. They just naturally appreciate women…
Um...this is all pretty talk. Unless the rubber meets the road and you've got a woman competing for something a man wants. And men are the hiring decision makers. Um...should I wait some more decades for men to come around? Or should I pay my bills with good feelings and angel dust as I "have more traits that are…
I think this is framed on the idea that a free-loader is a loser. And a person not holding up the household responsibly is a loser and if you have kids, you should support them.
Education, experience, training...and still it is easier for a man to get the jobs beyond entry level. I have a Master's degree and people have asked me why. Because I have to to just stay behind. Recently I was in a high tech layoff, my two peers found jobs within a month. I am still working contract and looking for…
I agree. Ditto.
Funny, I had the urge to put my fingers down my throat too.
A bad ad.
Recall Rick Perry.
I think that any woman, young or old, who sends naked pics to a boyfriend ought to think twice about it. It's like a tattoo, except with a tattoo, you can get them removed painfully.
Well, that you were coerced...who can say. However, say you are up for a manager's job in the future and someone helpfully passes these old pictures around.
I've often wondered why young women think they have such a limited future.
This is a good story - but the deal is: this isn't about justifying. I hope you won't take this the wrong way, but the fact you have to say this story, which I get, makes me sick. Of course, you have to tell the story but —
I've heard all sorts of blase, passive comments from women and men who don't get that if they don't speak out down, loudly and clear, they will have to re-fight all the past wars at a time when they can hardly fit anything in their lives.
@ gimme some sugar ....It IS pretty much the worst reason to get into kink. It's the ol "with me it'll be different."
Rick is trying to build a career beyond being "good hair" Perry by hatin' on women and public schools. Perhaps he can get a job at Dallas's Komen foundation. Perhaps be hired by a Koch foundation or brother Bush's hatin' public school foundation. He's a whore.
You know, I think that there should be a new law to require doctors to provide women, upon a diagnosis of pregnancy, more information about what happens if they continue a pregnancy. I think the rates of mortality and complications (with images of the complications) should be given and also the rates of mortality and…
I agree with more education and I'm glad you do to. I'm sure you'd agree with a new law requiring all doctors who give a positive pregnancy test to provide to a woman images of what a pregnancy gone bad can do to a woman's body, the morality and complication rates of pregnancy vs. abortion, and the costs, both…
