Unlike Mr. DeMuro, I’d buy a V12 Miata.

Koenigsegg changed the engine so much by the CCX that it is basically only the block that was the same, and even that has major modifications to it. If you really want to, you could say that their current engine is still a 4.6 Modular because their changes have been evolutionary. The engine in the Koenigseggs was

Ooo where and what are the rules?

The difference between a 16 valve SOHC engine and a 32 valve twin S/C DOHC engine is pretty big. The 5.0 Coyote is still a Modular engine, but no one regards it as the boat anchor the 4.6 was.

As bad of an idea this should be, I want to do it

Semi radial engine, compact longitudinally and probably fun sounding

Where were you racing with only a gallon of fuel?

Not the exact engine. It had some minor changes to the heads, cams, intake, crank, and just about everything but the block.

That’s the difference between a multi-link setup and double wishbone setup

If there are Bentley racecars, there need to be Rolls racecars

COTD

Fairly cheap as in an LS engine, brand new, emissions legal in all 50 states is about $10000. And the current Corvette gets over 30mpg. If they wanted, this car could be geared really long and get even better.

*extremely cheap and fairly fuel efficient V8

Try finding a battery in a Dodge Stratus

I suggest you get in touch with Katech (Cadillac Sixteen engine maker), Lingenfelter (made a V16 from Yamaha engines), or Mr. Vincent Foucart (made a V16 from 600cc Honda motorcycle engines for rallying).

I’m sticking to my recommendation of a V12 Miata, and I’ll comment with it on most of your articles until I get a good response from you on why you didn’t buy one.

Sounds like you used an analog one today

Rear-engine, swing-axles, awesome lines; it can’t be coincidence

You sound pretty grumpy, are you 1.5 psi off?

A 3-liter V-Twin with a turbo that kicks in at about 4500rpm and redline is 6500rpm would be ridiculous fun for no reason.
