One of the best investing idioms I've ever heard is "don't try to catch a falling knife." GM still falls into this category.

Pro tip to athletes:
Pro Tip: Stop putting those ugly ass wheels on cars. Please, please stop.
There's an ORV park near Flint, which is about an hour from metro Detroit, so most people probably head up there, though it'd be nice to have something close by. SE Michigan is mostly suburbs so the 'not in my backyard' types were probably up in arms.
They're made in Toledo, OH, but yea....the closest park is a couple hours away from this area. It blows. Here's the article. This was going to be close to me so I was really bummed. http://www.theoaklandpress.com/general-news/2…
Really makes me miss the days of being 16 and stupid and figuring out how fast I could take each turn out in the country before the tires started screeching, and later how much faster it'd take before I'd start sliding off the road.. PA is a fun place to drive, because our roads are kinda stupid.
I'm with you that the final budget on that series was a little off (which Forsberg even says in the last video), but honestly, getting connections for good deals is how you get things done on a budget with your car. You can't pull an engine without calling your buddies, and you can't get a good beater for next to…
Respectfully, I've never understood how people come to have this opinion...It's apparently okay to bulldoze and pave over vast tracts of the countryside in order to build a road with 16-foot wide ditches on either side, but it's not okay for people to drive down a narrow, minimally-invasive two-track trail?
I like to go off-road but I don't leave trash behind. I'm pretty damn responsible when it comes to these activities. I haven't modified my Jeep other than the usual lifts and winch so your envirowacko objections don't apply to me and probably the majority of off-roaders.
The forest service is constantly closing MTB trails too. It's far from an OHV only issue.
I think that's a big part of organizations like "Tread Lightly" and "Share Trails" are all about... getting yahoos who ruin it for everybody to clean up their act.
On the forums where I read about offroad vehicles, the main topics center around removing spark arrestors ,mufflers, catalytic converters etc. Perhaps if the offroaders showed respect for their neighbors and the environment (beer cans, garbage etc left everywhere), people might be more willing to listen.
Why doesn't this post have more recommends? Doing this, and adding an automatic option, would probably work wonders toward saving the model.
True, it does. The T4 would have to make 350 HP or something...which I'm not aware of any turbo-4 in existence that does.
Probably not the place to say this, but if Viper sales are so bad maybe it's time to throw in an automatic just to keep it alive.
BUT IT CAN STILL TORN YOU TO TINY PIECES.
I know it was a joke, but this red and black is actually exclusive to the Turbo S. Making it the more expensive option. You have to pay $180,000 in order to get it. I prefer it to the fully red interior. It breaks up the monotony and gives nice contrast.
"Question is, won't people expect the turbo-4 to be cheaper than the V6? "
Not if it has more power.
I had to explain to my 64-year-old dad that his friend's EcoBoost Fusion has a turbocharger in it. This means (a) people don't know even know why Ford is branding its cars with EcoBoost, (b) people don't realize Ford is putting turbochargers in its cars now, and (c) people don't realize that turbochargers can reduce…
There's always one of you people out there ;P
