I didn't know people above the age of 10 were shamed from buying Pokemon at a brick and mortar store.

Because it's on a handheld and when you have 600+ models of Pokemon not including all the other assets un related to the monsters to deal with you don't have the luxury of doing that.

Pokemon was never about visuals. (and you highly underestimate the time and energy it takes to make and animate pixel art.)

It was all about the competitive battling and the Pokemon.

The last time I watched someone play the Pokemon X and Y demo I facepalmed hard when they sent their Helioptile against a Gabite and let the thing die instead of swapping out and sending in Sylveon. Which they have stated a bazillion times was super effective against Dragon types.

Yeah, but then it became fun. Using different scenarios and different jokes to make it fresh.

All Sony is doing is beating the dead horse that is the E32013 smack down. They haven't done anything new.

It just comes off as pure bullying. Especially after Microsoft basically put it's tail between it's legs and surrendered.

"SpryFox—makers of Triple Town—are bringing the beautiful cartoony Road Not Taken, their next game about rescuing lost children, to PS4 and Vita."

As a Nintendo fangirl, why would I buy this?
I already have a 3DS, and the article even stated that it's intended for a market of people that were put off with the current models. Whether it be price point, inability to see in 3D, or just want something sturdy for the kids.

To assume "fanboys" are going to buy this just

Certainly not the American Headquarters.
They had to sell that one.

And I figured getting rid of the very features that pissed people off isn't good enough?

Yet they gave you a guide that specifically talked about the effects and symptoms of indoctrination on the user?
Indoctrination was never the focus of ME1. It was just another power advantage to add to the ever looming force of the Reapers.

Andrew House, the Sony top executive who took another swipe at Microsoft and the Xbox One from the stage at Gamescom, has explained why Sony has made such arch references to the competition at its showcase events. Basically, Microsoft made them do it.

Is it bad to actually be worried, that hot dogs are that...smooth?

The dude should be heralded as a hero.
I'm so sick and tired of people who don't even know who Valve is making Half-Life 3 confirmed jokes.

Put the fucking rumor in the back already.

Since when was it the games job to monitor the legality of your device?
I can understand if this happened when you PIRATED the game.
However jailbreaking the system?
What happens when the person with the jail broke system can't properly play the game he actually purchased?

It probably has a lot to do with it's rise in popularity in recent years.
I'm not sure if it's because X looks so good that people want to try out their previous games or what.

Bottom line is- this looks like a case of supply and demand.

I just backed up all of my eshop game apps onto my comptuer, copied them to a bigger SD card, and inserted that new SD card into my DS and it works like a charm.
You can very easily back up your eshop games.

Really?
Then I guess you've never really been to any huge gatherings before.

For something that is being heralded as the true innovation of gaming (and not a gimmick on the same level as the wii motion controls)
People seem to forget that something of this caliber can be very off putting to many people.
Some people will get motion sickness.
Others will get major headaches.
Many will simply not

Then great.
You think the excuse is bullshit.
End of the day the only people this will affect are the few people who give a crap about story mode in any modicum way.
Everyone else will just play the other two modes that people bought the game for anyway.

Story mode was never the highlight of the SSB games. Never have been, never will be.
I'm pretty sure they already have the "wow" factor....which is the game itself. Not some CGI cutscenes.
