I'm currently trying Pulse, which seems to be pretty good compared to the ones I've tried so far. The one thing they all seem to be missing is decent widgets. Some of the news reader apps have widgets, but they aren't very good. That's just based off what I've seen so far... does anybody have suggestions?

@AlabamaIceman: yes, because names that sound like feminine hygiene products are totally more appealing in today's tech market.

Nearly one year after the ipad, and I still really don't understand the purpose for tablets. Maybe next year.

@MACaroni: It's not. But it's probably tasty on MACaroni, eh?

@MIKERIOSISAWHORE.COM: I'm pretty sure that the credit goes to google. Seems like I remember reading somewhere (i don't remember where I read it) that the image above was buried in the android 2.3 release.

@Interstella5555: What is there to know? It's all about Steve, right?

@fugeesnfunions: You make good points, but I still don't agree that Apple has no chance without him. But, I suppose if we must, we can always give Charlie Bucket a call. Hopefully he still has his golden ticket.

@acjwatt: He IS a douchebag. In fact, I'm sure many would argue that his 'douchebaggery' is part of what made Apple the success that it is today. If you can read the 'The life of Steve Jobs - so far' article on this site and not think the guy has a few douche like qualities, then I must say you have some pretty

@alex92592: The PS3 is the best gadget I've bought in the past several years. I really don't think a company's 'soul' really matters all that much to most people. In fact, I'm not really sure what 'the company has no soul' means.

@RenRen: Why? Because I referred to Steve Jobs as a douchebag? I'm sure Steve probably knows he is at least a little 'douchey'. You can't be that much of a douche and not know it. I'm also sure he would much prefer the idea that his business continues even after he is gone too.

Melodramatic BS... Sorry, but I just have to call it as I see it. "Apple will not be fine if he doesn't return"... Are you serious? If Apple is anywhere near as good as many of you make them out to be, then they will be doing fine long after this douchebag bites the dust. Geez, you guys act like he's some sort of

Anybody who considers phone choice a priority over good service deserves to have shitty service. I haven't felt sorry for any of you dumb ass iphone users over the past few years who have been whining about AT&T. Yay for you for having a choice now though.

@Shivver: Good point, but keep in mind that Android has also been very successful in Europe.

@Aeros: After the ridiculous 'how-to' article posted here yesterday, it could also be plenty of idiots from this site too.

A new Google phone... How very exciting. It's a Samsung... How very 'blech'. It's only on T-Mobile... "Ack!". About the only thing it has going for it is that it's pure Android with no skin. As for everything else, it's not really much different than what has been coming out for the past year. Hopefully there

Oklahoma City is much bigger than I remember... I now live in the city limits instead of two hours away.

@Ryan_Long: Not necessarily. There are many online magazines and newspapers that are subscription based. But yes, I do understand why somebody would upload an app like this one. My question is why anybody would download it. Maybe I just don't understand the whole magazine app thing...

As an android user, I really don't care what Apple allows in their app store. I just want to rant a bit on these types of apps though. Why does anybody need an app like this when they can read about 'insert topic here' on the web any time they want? Android market has similar apps like this one (yes, some of them

I'm thankful for 5th Element references. Now I know what old DVD I will pull out and watch today.
