@Jestermeister: Umm, no. It's called grasping at random straws to piece together a news story based on speculation instead of proof.

If you have to update your 'news' story 9 freakin times, it could be a good sign that you didn't have a real news story to report in the first place.

@James Valentine: What news? This is nothing more than a page of 'he said, she said' bullshit quotes copy/pasted from other news sites.

@ID10T: that's kind of what I was thinking too. this doesn't sound much different than the 450 minute Nationwide Talk and Text plan. Am I missing something here?

@The Squid: Totally agree. Also considering that many people who use Blackberries don't care in the least about using the latest in tech gadgets. Instead, they can make phone calls, check email, and keep in contact with work while on the go. I don't think RIM has much to worry about in the near future.

@TangoTL: According to the warranty brochure that came with my Incredible, the maximum recommended operating temperature is 122F.

This is not a new app. I've had it installed on my phone for a few months. It did receive a new update today though.

@WheresWaldo: No. Even though there are new Android devices released fairly often, I don't have an interest in the majority of them. Samsung phones in particular have never interested me. I bought an Incredible a couple of days after it was released, and I haven't seen anything else since that really offers what

All I've got to say is that the song in the second video is freakin catchy. Already soundhounded and amazon mp3'd it. Thanks Gizmodo!

@doggdiggity: I'm going to retract my statement about the phone being too big and ugly. Those opinions were based on the pictures I've seen of it online. I actually saw one of these today and was very impressed. Not nearly as large to hold as I imagined it would be.

@meatbag_pussrocket: I agree that all of this is getting really old, but it's not just Gizmodo. Actually, with this particular story, Gizmodo is about a day late. This was even on Fox News yesterday.

HTC's data point is as worthless as all of the data points spouted by Steve Jobs. Neither company is obligated with providing truthful data about this issue, and you can be sure that neither company would release data that would make them look bad.

@angstman: Just speculation on my part. I really don't know if what you pay per month covers it. Verizon seems to charge for every damn thing they can think of, so probably not. LOL I'm just speculating as to why the phone is locked up the way it is. Someone else on here suggested that it might be pressure from

@angstman: "Was it a good stock phone? Oh, yes. But it's even better with Froyo, running at 1.2 GHz as a wifi hotspot."

@WingedGenius: I'm not sure, but i'm assuming it probably works on all 2.1+ devices.

Now playing

For those of you concerned about the blur launcher. I'm running this in place of Sense on the Incredible and it works just fine... no root or custom rom required. I know that many of you already know that this is possible, but it sounds like some of you (Giz reviewer included) might not know.

@vinod1978: "This Android phone prevents you from installing unapproved software. "
