Okay but a gun is a very dangerous object. Idk why people keep making arguments like this. Guns are inherently dangerous in a way that other objects are not.

Not even just Ms. Sheats. If you had asked the NRA if Ms. Sheats was a gun owner two weeks ago, they would have said absolutely. If you asked them now, they would say she was never a responsible gun owner, so it’s not fair to hold her actions against the responsible ones. It’s a beautifully circular argument.
