Down at the local McLaren Dealership.
I’m going t be swapping the springs on my BRZ to the STi ones they have available for it, but I need a spring compressor to do the swap. Was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for any. Thanks in advance.
Currently living in Southern California, was still surprised to see this driving around sure its a Renault rebadge, but its still a Sandero.
Apparently it was the Navy testing a trident missile. Haven’t seen anything like it before, looked like two stars moving across the sky, one was putting out these ring shaped pulses of light. The smoke trail stayed glowing for a good 10 minutes after it passed.
Saw these guys at various lots around town while looking for a bar that wasn’t completely packed.
Recently I have noticed a sharp uptick in the number of Mitsubishi Delicas, around Oregon. It has gotten to the point that I see at least 5 a week, all RHD 3rd gen and all passenger vans. I know the US got the Delica from 1987 to 1990 but the ones I’ve been seeing seem to all be imports.
Looking to replace the factory pads in my BRZ, and could use some recommendations. I tend to drive rather aggressively so something a bit more performance oriented would be preferable. Typically use the car for commuting with frequent mountain drives, and the occasional auto-x.
So apparently this place exists a few miles from my new house, unfortunately apart from having to buy a lot the annual membership fee is around $80,000. No matter how successful I become as a penetration tester, I will never be able to afford this.
With the move to southern California coming next month, the requirement to have a winter beater is no more. This means I can focus on saving for my next obtainable dream car, which is a 964 C2 Targa. Probably a few years off from buying one, but I like to do my research well in advance. Mainly what I’m looking for is…
Now you can have an Aston Martin submarine to go with your Aston Martin Boat. All they need now is an Aston Martin jet.
Why do companies keep trying to make convertible crossovers a thing?
It’s been a long week at work, but there’s light at the end of the tunnel. Just got the motherboard for my PC so I’ll be working on that Saturday. Going from a Asus z170M to a Asus ROG Strix Z270G, so now I have a spot for an m.2 card and SLI support for when I get another GTX 1080. Going to be a full tear-down since…
With my current living arrangement coming to an end, I’m probably going to be moving to my family’s vacation home in Palm Desert around November while I wrap up my bachelors degree. This will be the furthest I’ve moved away from my parents, and the first time I’ll be going someplace where I don’t know anyone in the…
Non-Evo 190E’s seem to go for next to nothing compared to the e30 M3. Most I’ve seen on BaT are selling for under 20k and mostly in the mid teens. Seems like this would be the cheapest option to get a car with an engine worked over by Cosworth. I’ve been obsessing over these for about a month now, probably will end up…
Super interesting going through what Google tracks about you. Also time to disable Ok Google on my phone.
Found this Spec B for sale while shopping for a daily. Car Guru says there’s been one accident, but I’m trying to get some more information on what kind of accident it was in. If it’s nothing too serious I would strongly consider picking it up.
Paid off the remainder of what I owed yesterday, just waiting on the title from my credit union. Managed to get it payed off nearly a year ahead of schedule. Time to start modifying.
Should Lotus buy the rights to use the new MX-5 platform to build a new Elan? Focus on getting it as light as possible, Offer it with a supercharged 2ZZ-GE and priced a bit above the 124 Abarth. Could be a mass mover for Lotus to help fund some more ambitious projects.
New clutch, flywheel, throwout bearing and fork. Unfortunately it was not covered under warranty so I’m out $1,600 but at least it’s fixed. Next time I should have another car available so I can do the work myself and save some money. Was able to also replace the old damaged rear bumper with the new one as well…
