What’s your gripe? Did you expect the guy from NBC to hide the fact (at the time) that the runner had been DQ’d and instead blow smoke up the runner’s ass and congratulate him on a silver medal?

Eh.. I didn’t so much think it was race-baiting as it was Tirico-specific. But the way it’s shaken out this is as much of a Tirio “ban” as it is a Tomas de Servo or DoesTheHumanWatchtheGame ban. We’re not the lead announcers for SNF, so we’re “banned”?? Umm.. Ok. That’s makes as much sense as me losing out on a job

So NBC agrees to terms with the NFL then attempts to alter these terms without coordinating with said NFL? Then NBC puts the NFL on blast for disapproving the change? Really?!

ban: officially or legally prohibit.

I’m all for vilifying the NFL, I really am. Fuck them. This seems like normal business though, we’re going to blast them for expecting terms of contracts honored? come on.

So, the NFL is well within its rights to have Al & Cris do the game, since it insisted on the networks’ lead broadcast team to do the games, and that was apparently what was agreed upon. And NBC is wrong for trying to switch it up. So...non-story: the NFL is not some horrible villain.

“Lol, my point was that I didn’t get baseball then, and I still don’t get it now. Discuss.”

So you had never actually watched a game when you formed this understanding of the second baseman? I’m not sure clarifying that paragraph helps it any... it’s more of a ctrl-z situation.

Wait, how is the infield unbalanced? You’ve got two defensive players to the left of 2nd base and two to the right. It seems perfectly balanced to me. Someone explain what I’m missing.
