What does get me though is when I’m struggling with a puzzle, basically know what I need to do, but just keep screwing up. It really gets on my nerves when the NPC keeps saying the hints over and over and over. Yes, I fucking know what I need to do I’m just bad at video games, so give me a break!

What’s wrong with checking your bag with reception at your hotel? It’s usually free, and you can tip them after picking up your stuff if you’re so inclined, so the money goes directly to the hotel employee rather than some VC-backed app.

Considering the top-down fight in John Wick: Chapter 4 was one of the film’s three blowout final fight scenes, I’d argue that the film’s action sequences not only blow its contemporaries out of the water by the sheer scope of their choreography and camera work, but also help make it the best film in the franchise.

100% agree. I like the smell of various teas, and I come from a culture that drinks a lot of tea, but Ted Lasso’s description of it as “hot brown water” is spot on.

I used to manually adjust the brightness to try to maximize battery life. The ability to sell a game after I’m done and recoup some cash is the main reason I still buy physical, and Nintendo’s first party games almost never go on sale for the first couple of years after release, so their resale value holds up for quite some time.

The only time I’ve found myself annoyed by auto-brightness is watching movies on my iPad on an airplane. If the cabin lights are dimmed, auto-brightness turns the backlight all the way down, making the screen too dim to watch. Like you said, it takes 2 quick swipes to solve the issue.
