You have to understand, every time this woman does something we’re supposed to act like she’s birthing another Christ child.

Deadwood and Justified are two of my favorite shows, so I certainly have no complaints about Olyphant frequently playing similar roles.  And if you’re gonna be typecast, being defined as a Handsome Cowboy type seems like it’s not too objectionable.

I’ve been catching up on the previous season of Fargo (which for some reason I just completely missed when it was first on) and I about shit a brick when he showed up as a cowboy hat wearing US Marshal. The guy may be typecast, but God damn he’s amazing in that role.

I think Olyphant should play some kind of country lawman in a cowboy hat. He could be very brave and heroic, with a wry sense of humor, but also a worrisome temper.

How about “Nursing Home Improvement” where we can all have a laugh over the terrible state of elder care in this country.  The fact that the three kids aren’t acting anymore also works - nobody ever comes to visit.

With Earl Hindman dead, maybe Wilson died too but Tim never notices, talking to a hat on a skull for years.

They should have attempted to confuse the prestige movie audience by calling it Marvels of the Flower Moon

Hopefully the lesson Disney/Marvel take from this is “make better movies and tv shows” and not “don’t have women lead our movies.”  The three stars and their chemistry was by far the best thing about it.

I am not really a fan of the movie Elf (though my mom loved it and wanted to watch it every year). But I love this article & her scenes in the movie were terrific
