I should think the films would be kind of chewy.

I miss Carl Perkins.

My favorite Tarzan appearance comes courtesy of “The Far Side” when he is swinging through the trees imagining all of the eloquent things he can say to Jane when he greets her. Then he reaches her and to his great chagrin instantly screams “Me Tarzan, you Jane!”. That is about all of the Tarzan I ever need.

For me, going back to my wife she knows about all of those, but the only one she really cares about from roughly that era is Buster Keaton. Loves Buster Keaton films and actually turned me on to them.

Well this week had lots o'horses, so that grey will be sad.

When I finally watched “John Carter” I thought it was decent, largely because I had no prior expectations that it would be good. That is the secret - I went into the new “Munsters” movie assuming I would turn it off after 5 minutes, but I was wrong. I lasted 35 minutes. It wasn’t the absolute worst thing I’ve ever

Interesting. My wife is 47 and she knows about “I Love Lucy” and it’s cast, but she has no emotional connection to it at all and would probably never voluntarily watch an episode. It’s just a really old and dated show to her.

One has to assume there are Tarzan fans out there, somewhere. I’ve never met any, but maybe movie executives are tuned into some vibe I’m not. It’s a property like the Lone Ranger for me, no interest at all, ever, and I’m old even.

I think we are going to eventually enter an era where we can with prompts generate our own films. And then beyond that a.i. will create a film for us based on our preferences at the push of a button.

I am a big defender of most things MCU, but this one I flat out disliked. It took the tone of Ragnarok and dialed it up to 11, and it was far, far too much. As soon as the godawful goats appeared I knew we going to get that joke 37 more times. Ugg.

Hanks performance was strange and off-putting, but memorable. I was expecting to hate it, but I am still thinking about it. Somehow it worked, at least for me.

I like them, but I was slightly shocked at how willing the Harfoot lady was to abandon an entire family to the wolves. Tolkien said that while they didn’t seek conflict out, Hobbits had from early on known how to fight. They wouldn’t have survived long otherwise. I’d like to see a bit of that.

Hawkeye is central to the show of course, and is a great character, but Charles is my favorite. Even though the character is funny, I find it difficult to watch the Frank episodes because he is so one note rotten and kind of pathetic. Watching everyone beat on him all the time gets tiresome.

I personally think it's an idea we can all get behind.

And he was very, very small.

I hear everybody is doing that nowadays.

The song would have been much better if Lennon had given away everything he owned prior to recording it, yes.
