It’s not a video game, it’s 70 dollars that EA defrauded the consumer out of by knowingly selling broken merchandise.

The vast majority of posts on the sub are memes. There are over 200k people there, of course some will be toxic, but they’re trying to shut down all criticism by pulling the victim card and y’all are eating it up. The “brutal expectations” people have are for things like a working game, stuff that should have been…
I think a lot of it has to do with a few things:
You’re goddamn right I’m entitled when i pay $60 for a videogame that should work but doesn’t.
No one is saying it can’t be any fun at all; what we’re saying is that it should be so much better.
They literally just had to carry over previous features from other BF titles while updating a few mechanics and the majority of the community would’ve been happy.
The only thing I am seeing is post and memes complaining about the state of the game. When did complaining about a broken $80 product become toxicity?
You got something on your nose...
Honestly, it just depends on your definition of toxicity. Death threats or threats in general? No, people who do that have a whole different set of issues.
But telling people they can’t be angry and vent that frustration on a public forum? Either you’re trolling or come from some higher…
Ok cool. So I guess that list of missing core features that any reasonable fan would have expected is just fairy tales.
I mean, you are using the 2 most functional specialists (out of 8), which allows you to better avoid the barren wasteland all players who don’t have enhanced mobility have to deal with.
Is it the players putting the Reddit mods in a difficult position? Or the game devs and publishers who release incomplete and broken games literally every year?
That little worm went on twitter and said we were being unreasonable for wanting things like VOIP, a scoreboard and a working game. He then gaslit then entire fan base and now they’re reaping what they sow. They deserve whatever vitriol that comes their way.
Can we talk about the tonal dissonance? We are playing a BF game with what is essentially Team Fortress characters. Tree identical twins can enter a room, one of them a russian lady, but still identical Sundance clones. At least in Team Fortress if two scouts enter the room on opposing teams they would dress different…
“Battlefield has always been weird and silly”
Seems in pretty poor taste to me, but I’m probably not the target audience.
The Herb is really trying to turn G/O media into 2005 Forbes.com but worse, huh.
The Games With Gold lineup is pretty... good? I already own Saint’s Row 2 on PC but the multiplayer on Xbox was better, just sayin’. Arguably, SR2 had the best story campaign of open world titles in the 2000s.
Good? lmao
Steam hardware and software survey is automated and opt-out, not opt-in. Knowledge is, indeed, half the battle.
but does it still take 69 years to navigate it
So I definitely like this new intro, the echoes of One Winged Angel and Aerith running likes she’s scared of something, foreshadowing Sephiroth/Jenova’s more overt presence in the opening chapter, is a nice touch BUT...it feels like they’ve overdone the “epicness” a little too much. There’s a few things, but Clouds…
