Absolutely agree. Having your spouse cheat on you - and lie to your face about it - is devastating. I mean, if you actually give a damn about your relationship and are invested in it, that is. I was fortunate in that there were no children involved. That’s another level of investment.

Because, and bare with me here, the vast majority of people who watch the show don’t pick it apart like online critics do. They enjoy it for what it is: a dumb, self-serious, zombie romp with some interesting drama and visceral action. Personally, I’ve yet to see a season I didn’t enjoy.
