Square Enix couldn't get the licensing lined up correctly so it could never come out.

No, you need a Chef's knife and a paring knife. Having a smallish Santoku and a utility knife is redundant and doesn't address anything you cut in your hand (or for finer details). You can use a Santoku instead of a chef's knife, although you should really get a large one for it to be useful.
HOLY MOTHERFUCKING SHIT. Are we *STILL* going with this OtherOS theory of PS3 hacking. I'm going to fucking explode.
I don't believe they were actually behind the Sony hack. The Sony hack was way too sophisticated for a bunch of script kiddies and a small number of okayish hackers. So I can believe that *this* group will stop.
Breaking the EULA is illegal. Even with the recent fcc clarification about this for mobile devices, it is still illegal. This is not to say I agree with EULAs, but for subsidized hardware they make sense.
yeah but the guy who knowingly makes illegal switchblades certainly is liable for punishment if one of his blades is used to kill someone. The same way if you serve alcohol to underage minors and they crash into a school bus while attempting to drive drunk home you are an accomplice and liable to persecution.
But their work absolutely can and was used to promote piracy. It may not have been their "intention", but it was the effect. And intention isn't what is considered in a lawsuit like this.
Interesting. I really wish gaming sites would report more on the technical side of game development, rather than just jumping on the odd technical rumor which may mean nothing. Nice find.
Wipeout? Daxter? Comon, the launch era of the PSP was pretty good.
I think the Vita's big selling point right now is how easy it appears to code for. That seems to be what all developers rave about. The PSP and PS3 were supposedly difficult to code for. I REALLY want to see what tools Sony has prepared to make ports from PS3 power-pc cell run games to the ARM run more conventional…
There a different bands and stuff, but really there are just two types of current gen cellular tech. GSM , which is what AT&T tmobile and the rest of thr world uses, and CDMA which is what Verizon and sprint use (and some carriers in Canada ). T mobile is soon to be atttmobile so there really is no choice but to use…
It is soon to be the only international (read GSM) carrier in the US now, so you really can't blame Sony.
Only because my iPad in Canada won't let me go anywhere else. Which sucks because sometimes the stories are old and commenting doesn't work well. Not that I'm in love with the new layout, but the blog view is better than a broken old kotaku.
"And if we meet our target renders, they can look just like this console generations games!"
What's wrong with blu ray?
I fully expect a Penny Arcade comic about this tomorrow. Like duke nukem horses one.
hehe, canadian carriers doing something nice for their customers. Thats a funny joke there!
It's your fault that your currency is overvalued. Dissolve the Euro, let the local currencies depreciate, and then we can start talking.
Forgot about Beyond Good and Evil 2/. aagghh. With that, no PoP in sight, and just more milking of Assassins creed 2 I may like Activision more than Ubisoft now.
