I have bipolar illness as well. I know what you mean, but please let’s stop using the term he/she is bipolar. They have bipolar illness. You wouldn’t call someone with cancer, “he’s cancer.” He/she has cancer. I know this seems captious, but with all the stigma placed on mental illness, it’s possible to help others…

Oh wow thank you!! I’m always looking for new music. I’ll definitely check them out. I just bought an album by an artist named Agnes Obel, not in the same genre as Brandi, but rather haunting and melodious. I really like a song by her called “Familiar.”

Oh yes yes yes! They’re just beautiful together. From looking on Brandi’s instagram it looks like they have a little girl that’s just adorable.

I have to admit I’d never heard of her before, I was taking my mom to see Kris Kristofferson and she was a surprise bonus. I’m a big fan of alt-country/folk. Now I’m a big fan of her.

Just saw Brandi Carlile play last night with Kris Kristofferson. She sang Hallelujah and it had me in tears along with the rest and of the audience. What a voice. I’ve never heard it performed live before and she just killed it.
