Trust me, I’ve received my ballot and just need to drop it off at the library. I’m voting for Hillary and will do all that I can to stop Trump. I’m also one of the few that always votes during local elections and statewide and hence can literally see that my vote has made a difference. I live in a conservative

I agree. I'm in a caucus state (Washington), our primary isn't until May 24, but since the caucuses voted for Bernie, I really feel that my vote doesn't count.

Christine Chubbuck (August 24, 1944 – July 15, 1974) was an American television news reporter who worked for WTOG and WXLT-TV in Florida. She died by committing suicide during a live television broadcast.

Wow you met her!!! So lucky! I’ve had a hard core woman crush on her for years. 81 years old and her intellect, passion and lifelong commitment to end gender and racial disparity inspires me big time.

I lived in SoCal for 25 years and went out to Joshua Tree often. Then I got lucky and was able to live in Mammoth for awhile and was in awe every day, did a whole bunch of hiking there. Then the business that I worked for got shut down and there’s not many jobs in town that allow you to pay the rent (housing shortage

I am partaking of the evil weed and watching this great 6 part documentary called National Parks: US’s Best Idea. Highly recommend!! (On PBS). Especially for a tree hugger like myself. This series sparks my dream of visiting every single National Park. They are our sacred cathedrals.

Good post. I’m in total agreement.

Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. Women are afraid that men will kill them.

In the 114th Congress, only 18% are veterans.

Agreed, when one out of 3 women are raped or sexually abused during their lifetime, it’s not all frat-boys committing the crime.

Hey, believe it or not I got busted for felony cultivation in CA for having TWO plants. ONE plant is considered a felony. Someone called the cops at 3:00am saying there was a prowler in the neighborhood. Since my back window was cracked open for my cat to come in, the cops insisted they had to search my house because

You conveniently forgot to mention that, while Sanders voted against the original authorization to use military for against Iraq, he followed that vote with several subsequent votes authorizing funding of that war and the debacle in Afghanistan. Bernie had blood on his hands too.

Were you awake during the election in 2000? It’s called the “spoiler effect” and it’s exactly what allowed Bush to win the election over Gore, thanks to 3rd party candidate Ralph Nader. Good luck with the Republican appointees as your Supreme Court over the next decades.

Wow. Hillcunts. You Bernie supporters are always bringing such civilized comments to the table amirite? That’s a whole new low.

“It wasn’t like Sanders was in enemy territory. The Daily News has been quite favorable to Sanders in the run up to the Empire State’s primary on April 19. The paper has yet to endorse in the Democratic primary.”

Right on! You've voiced my feelings exactly.

David Foster Wallace wrote the best description of depression I've ever read. I'm bipolar and this is exactly how I feel when I'm so depressed I start thinking about suicide.

I remember her talking about going out to Joshua Tree. She said she climbed on top of the trailer to watch the stars. That's when I realized how much I'd like to hang out with her.

Let’s not forget about Martha Gellhorn. She was a war correspondent for 60 years. She was the only woman to land at Normandy on D-Day on June 6, 1944. She was also among the first journalists to report from Dachau concentration camp after it was liberated by Allied Troops.
