The most entertaining studio segmentson Top Gear were the car themed Christmas presents which usually ended in Jeremy inadvertently setting something on fire, and the ones where Jeremy demonstrated alternative uses for V8 engines. Star in a reasonably priced car was usually boring except for the 5 or so guests who

It’s interesting that they introduced the heavier duty diesel version of this truck before the standard gas V8 version.

People who do this are only fooling themselves. My current vehicle is ten years old, with 190,000 miles, and it’s payed off. While I’ve had to pay for a couple expensive repairs in the last year or so, the cost really isn’t that much compared to new car payments.

I like the way the HVAC controls were setup on older Lexus vehicles with navigation. Stuff like temp controls up and down for driver and passenger, fan on/off, and defrost all had dedicated buttons but everything else you had to go through the touchscreen. For audio controls, I don't mind having presets and equalizer

This rule clarification has more to do with Volkswagen and other makers of emissions defeat devices such as O2 sensor simulators, and catalyst delete pipes which are currently marketed and sold as for off-road or track use only. There have been federal laws against removing catalytic converters and other emissions

Worst I’ve ever been screwed was taking my old 2000 4Runner to a national chain repair shop instead of the dealership to have the rear axle shaft seals and rear brakes replaced. I took it back at least 3 times and it was still leaking gear lube onto the rear brake shoes. I actually ended up buying a different 4Runner.

What is that abomination?

No.

Why buy this Mitsubishi when you can get a 3rd generation Toyota 4Runner for around the same price? CP.

That stuff that looks like an erector set is Unistrut, and is typically used to hold up electrical conduit in a warehouse.

I missed that part of the article. That's a nice option.

It’s a nice off-road setup from the factory, but I don’t much care for the handlebar mustache grille and enormous RAM letters on the tailgate that can be seen from outer space. It’s a bit much.

So the EPA thinks that out of 250 million vehicles on the road in the US, outlawing several thousand LeMons race cars, spec Miata racers, and drag race cars is going to reverse global warming and save air quality for the baby children and for generations to come. I highly doubt it.

If this SUV has a 5 link with a live rear axle the third row is likely a bit cramped to allow for more suspension articulation and wheel travel compared to a Chevy Traverse.

The reason for the name is marketing, because they offer something called EcoBoost in many models across their entire range of cars and trucks.

I don’t have any CDs but I probably have a couple Scion Branded 1 GB USB flash drives they use to give away like free candy. I probably took about 5 of them.

Anything over $3500-4000 for one of these is CP as far as I’m concerned. A fresh crate engine doesn’t add $3000 of value. When buying a used luxury car, you want proof that the car has been well maintained, obviously the first owner didn’t take good care of the car if the original engine needed replacement.

Never use your power windows, sunroof, door locks, mirrors, seat adjusters, seat heaters, or electric window and mirror defrosters because that stuff uses precious electricity to run and will sap 0.08 MPG off of your mileage.

It would be cooler if they made one of with the 5.7 L V8 that’s available in the Tundra, keeping the powertrain all Toyota. I’m pretty sure there’s a TRD supercharger available for the Tundra V8 as well.

I’d buy this and swap in a late model 302 Windsor with fuel injection and electronic ignition, because I’m not terribly concerned about originality and 105 HP is nowhere near enough.
