"It's a promising technology, so long as those cells have good data plans." First they'll start capping the data plans, and next thing you know they'll be roping you into some ill-conceived shared data plan... progress is wonderful, isn't it?

Awesome, thank you for clarifying! A bit of a drive from Bellingham, but to get my fingers on an actual Surface this holiday? Probably worth it!

Rub it in why don't you?! =p

Am I missing something, or did Washington State not make the list? Is there already one in the state? You'd think we'd rate, being home to Redmond, after all!

"didn't have neither" - should be "had neither"

Trolling? I am an avid iPhoner, and no, iPhone video stabilization is not nearly as good as what we're seeing here. Even on my 4s.

So far unimpressed. Apple may pull out some surprises on the 12th, but they'd have to pull out a whole load of them to eliminate my temptation to ditch my 4S for the Nokia 920.

This makes sense, the whole punishment side to deter people from gambling on not getting caught. A second question, though, can a person declare bankruptcy if they are faced with a fine of hundreds of thousands of dollars? Not that bankruptcy is a good thing, or not without consequences, but assuming you can declare

I think I saw that episode... but if I'm recalling it correctly, didn't some radio transmissions actually affect the what-ever-its-called that determines if you're level with the horizon? It's entirely possible that I'm making that all up in my head though!

My thoughts exactly! Cleaver guinea pigs! ;)

I don't mean to change the subject, but I was curious how far these jury instructions go, " A damages award should put the patent holder in approximately the financial position it would have been in had the infringement not occurred, but in no event may the damages award be less than a reasonable royalty. You should

Thoroughly entertaining review. Seriously. a 10/10. Well done Sam. Well done. If you're quite done with the Furby, would you ship it to me? I don't want to keep it, of course, I just want to subject other people to it.

Thank you! I heard all this scary crap about 8 being death to PC gaming, but never any of the reason WHY it was gonna be the death. Then I heard that it runs things better than 7. Confusion set in. I appreciate the down and dirty facts on the matter!

This review literally made my day. Still laughing. I want one. Not for me. To give to some poor unfortunate soul.

It makes sense, if you're looking at the probability of a single event (such as a coin toss) alone, it will always be 50%, but when you add in a number of tries... wait, now this breaks down in my mind. What's you're saying makes sense, but I guess I feel like it doesn't make sense if you're forecasting... i.e. out

Admittedly it's been a while since I had any classes on statistics, etc, but I could swear that it didn't work like that... i.e. You can't take a .003% chance a multiply it by x number of years to come up with the 80% likelihood figure. Same as flipping a coin. Just cause you flipped it once and you got heads

So the quantity of rudest people is the highest where the quantity of people is the highest? Wouldn't it make more sense to balance it out on a per capita basis? Don't get me wrong, as a fan of small-town-USA I like the results as is, but the factual side of me wonders....

Um... wouldn't steps 1 through 3 result in just creating a copy of the key? No bumping required? Am I missing something?
