If this is the DLM thread, I want to mention that it had two good lineups in a row last week: the Sklars/Mark Wahlberg, then Scheer/Zouks/Scott, which is a nice change from the recent drought. I don't think I'd listened to an episode in months before that.

I was tricked by that gigantic heart by the romance options and the incredibly flirtatious lines next to it!

I can't say enough good things about Matt Gourley - he's so quick, so funny, and comes up with the most incredible turns of phrase, especially as H.R. Giger. I still laugh to myself maybe once a month about "You have reminded me of Lisa Lampanelli, and I am afeared." It seems like he's only known to podcast

They do mention that justification on today's CBB.

Joshua Tree. Basic choice, I know.

I actually bought my first U2 album because of how great this interview was. However, I should note that I would've bought their entire catalog if they would've brought Scott and Scott some FUCKING t-shirts.

I didn't know until people started mentioning it this season. It's really hard to tell; she does a killer job altering her voice for Vincent. Also worth noting that Keegan-Michael Key voices the billionaire adventurer cat.

I've posted on here several times about how angry S6 of 24 made me, just because there was so much wasted potential. Re: Siddig's character specifically, I thought it would've been a fascinating arc if this character that they've set up as a bin Laden-equivalent suddenly wanted to turn back to the light side. There's

Bite your tongue. Kumail Nanjiani is a national treasure.

We actually do this week! It is a shocking twist.

Instead of Spontaneanation proper, can we discuss PFT's increasingly baffled/angry ad reads for Cards Against Humanity? How long do you think he can keep that up?

It was extra hilarious because other people just alluding to the word has sent him into paroxysms of laughter in the past.

Goin' to Inglewood now!

The last two (ghost sex and student play) have made me laugh harder than any of the other ones so far, so I'm hoping it's hitting its stride. Agree with the downthread folks that Sheen is a delight, and agree that anything with Gourley/PFT is an auto-listen. Their chemistry is amazing.

I'm sort of behind on it, so I just listened to the Dr. Doug one with Nick Kroll, which I think is probably under "delightfully unhinged" in the podcast dictionary. The podcast dictionary is in audio form, obviously.

I would've named RZA, talked about him making people compete for his beats, and spun it into an ode to capitalism. Rookie move, Rubio.

If we're only counting verses on Wu-Tang albums I actually might agree with you, but his solo stuff doesn't hold up compared to GZA, Raekwon, and Ghostface, who all put out at least one stone-cold classic.

Semi-connected, I was in LA this week for work and I went to see ASSSSSCAT. It had Lapkus, Joe Wengert, and some other people I didn't recognize and whose names were drowned out by the cheering, but who were also great, and guest monologist, The Waitress from Always Sunny! Also, it was the funniest thing I've seen in

Oh, so just the thing from HH but with Louis CK instead of Aziz. Interesting. Garfunkel and Oates is definitely the first place I'd go with "female comedy duo."
