It's good and Lovett is good.

Worth mentioning that Zach and Jess were on With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus this week and basically did a variant of Off Book as two DJs: DJ Backsplash and DJ Crown Molding. Also worth mentioning that they had a song about Prince which is maybe my favorite two minutes in podcasting history.

Seconded, I saw RTJ live a couple weeks ago and they were awesome.

Oh good, it's not just me. The entire schtick seems to be "white guy doing mild yellowface accent," which is a real swing-for-the-fences move, and then the character is just kind of a guy with an inconsistent backstory and some weird phrasing here and there. I wouldn't even mind the character if he'd shown up once or

I disagree, it's way too quiet. Whenever I try to listen to it at the gym I can barely hear anything even at max volume, and my gym's not all that loud.

Man, I listened to the SPONT episode and the High & Mighty riff episode and they both just fell totally flat. I'll give the Gourley one a shot but maybe the show's just not for me.

I heard a crime go. The crime was this comment.

I'm not all the way through yet but everyone should be aware that Comedy Bang Bang has its best lineup in ages: Jon Hamm, Edgar Wright, Paul F. Tompkins, and Jessica McKenna.

Yeah, as a lawyer, this trial was irritating as hell for me. I get why TV shows do that, but trying the whole "surprise witness" and "surprise evidence" thing in a real court would just result in the evidence being suppressed and a judge yelling at you in chambers for like a half hour.

Oh, it's still probably my favorite show in the Crooked Media empire despite that problem. I didn't much care for Lovett at first when I started to their shows, but either he got better at hosting or just grew on me. His recurring bits on Rubio and how he's always 100% respected Comey are guaranteed laughs.

I actually have the opposite take: since Lovett or Leave It is generally covering the full week, it's even more old-newsy than the PSA flagship. The panels have always been at least decent so far (I thought Kumail Nanjiani and D'Arcy Carden have been particular standouts), but if you're active on Twitter when news

Nick Cannon's hilarious.

Normally if there's something on CBB that I don't really care for (e.g. most of Jon Daly's stuff), I can at least see why people would enjoy it, but I find it utterly baffling that anyone enjoys Ming at all.

Tim Baltz is also pretty good. I think he and Newsome are my overall favorites. Tarver's Donny Gary character is a standout but I don't like a lot of his stuff past that.

They seemed to have a tentative agreement about doing The Stand, which would delight me 110%.

I thought the best part was when Lovett called Tommy Vietor a boat shoe in human form. Or D'Arcy Carden talking about how hot Trump is.

Well, I'm sure as hell not going to stop you.

I'd concede that the Crooked Media guys are smug sometimes, but it baffles me that someone could think they're too smug and the Chapo guys aren't.

The DLM lineup today is a corker, if that helps.

I am kind of entertained by the idea of someone insisting to Jimmy Pardo's wife that her father is definitely the guy from Star Trek who is (a) openly gay, and (b) Asian.
