Sad news. Its awful really. People just can’t stand other views of people. I don’t any agree with all her post but so what. I just moved on. Maybe I’m reading her last post differently but I read it as a statement of the current political climate and how ugly it’s getting to the point we are labeling/hating each

All she had to was not exercise her 1st amendment rights? Go back to China with that nonsense.

Not defending her, AT ALL, but “cancel culture” is really bothering me. If there ever was a scenario, where slippery slope applied, I think this is it.

Yeah, but on the other side of the equation, Bob Harras should just stay the fuck away from comics in general.

A country is more than its government. Even Russia. Chill out.

No kidding. This never fails to give me The Happy:

My standard response at this point:

It makes sense on so many levels.

In an world so full of strife and bitterly contested opinions about Superheroes and their movies, can we all agree at least on one thing: the John Williams Superman theme is the best superhero music theme, like, ever?

I would think that Garak would like not to be mentioned. After all, what contributions can a humble tailor provide?

How great was Quark? That show totally redeemed the Ferengi for me.

TNG is probably the most “Trek” show out there (what with the level of influence Roddenbery had on it for years and years), but DS9 is far and away the better television show, for sure. I just can’t gush over how wonderful a show it is to watch. The characters, the themes it explores, the idea that you can’t live in

Got through the entire article describing why this is the best ST world (I agree, especially after the first 1-2 seasons), and didn’t even have to mention Elim Garak. Well done. Still, he must be mentioned somewhere.

Of all the Trek shows I have ever watched in my life, Deep Space Nine’s writing was the most... human.
