I’ve noticed that articles about Overwatch as a game really make me want to play it, and articles about Overwatch players make me want to avoid it.

Overwatch is just a more popular and visually interesting game. It has a massive social media identity and every major update it tends to bleed into other media. Basically it has outsider appeal and a large enough user base that Hots doesn’t have. Which is unfortunate because I really like hots.
