Not so much technobabble and chronobabble. But why is anything fixed in time now? Without the Time Masters running the show, why can't Rip go back and rescue his family? Snart? Kill Hath-Set in Ancient Egypt? I don't know the rules. But I'm guessing no one does.
- During the destruction of the Oculus, I half-expected

Was this whole episode designed to justify Barry's decision not to save his mother? (Other than, of course, the pretty cool Iris & Cisco team-up.) Because that was never what needed to be justified to me. I always thought that the issue was that, knowing the risks - to his friends, his city, the world - he went back

Part the 1st: SHE'S HIS ANCHOR! RADAR LOVE! I've read this story before. But it was about a red-haired Wally West who was Iris's nephew, and a woman named Linda Park.

This episode made me miss BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER *so much*! It was just teenage Bonnie in a cheerleader outfit killing teenage vampires at high school, but still…!

I have to agree, all the so-called Good Guys were complete idiots this episode. But Ray gets First Prize. After being told three times "Savage is just trying to get under your skin," he - bereft of his ATOM suit - actually opens the cell door of their worst enemy, a psychopathic, immortal, 4000-year-old warlord, so he

If writers wanted to write a story about a female meta who didn't set out for a life of crime, but still got into problems Barry had to intervene with, they could. Or even include a meta woman as a supporting character, as someone who jumps in to help during a critical moment, anything. To say "oh, probably it's

Part the 2nd: I couldn't help but notice tonight that all the women on the show - and there aren't many - are now there entirely because of their emotional relationships to more powerful, more important men. Caitlyn, once known for being a brilliant scientist, is reduced to constantly appealing to Zoom's meager

Part the 1st: Cisco and Wells are great together. They make the show for me. I remember, once again, that Cisco build the cold gun in order to stop a speedster if he ever needed to. One might come in ahndy now, right?
- The poor cops…. "Let's move them to Jitters, it's only a block from the station!" Yeah, THAT'LL

I was a little surprised that Gabe's response, upon discovering that the key had been taken, was "I'l need a drink," rather than "I'll need a screwdriver and pliers." Up until then he had been such a competent hostage. (It seems likely to me that Jane & Doug's cabin in the woods comes with a toolbox. At least ask!)

I'm biased because I also watch Vampire Diaries and Legends of Tomorrow tonight. So: Orphan Black, A+!

When Enzo came home, and Bonnie was at peace with dying, and said she wasn't going to be sad, I was a LITTLE surprised that she didn't add "and at least Elena can come back to life." Look, I know none of the gang is going to kill Bonnie, or let her die, to bring Elena back. But at this particular juncture it's like

Part the 2nd: Poor Kendra, they really push her towards stereotype. She has a female friend, and all they can talk about is BOYS (Carter and Ray). No Bechdel Win here. Then we have a flashback to where, after about 200 lives of continual danger, Carter is still teaching her how to use a weapon, and giving her lectures

Part the 1st: I really feel like everybody on this show is an idiot. They get Vandal Savage in a room, alone with his daughter, who is on their side. They have a heat gun, and whatever Rip has, and a COLD GUN that they could use to FREEZE HIS LEGS. They could easily render him helpless so Kendra can do her thing.

"We finally get to see Kendra unleash her might, and it is a lot of fun watching her kiss Savage’s greasy ass." Typo - or Freudian slip? :-)

Having already taken the actions that lead to the risk, of course.

I have to wonder how the couple who were caring for Diana handled her. She doesn't seem like she would be very easy to discipline.

Ha! Thanks for that.

Hey! Cisco's the most competent person on FLASH. Cold guns, heat guns sonic devices, and whatever it is the Golden Glider's gun does (no, really - tell me!) - he could win a Nobel and outfit an army of superheroes, if he remembered where he put his notes.
- Did Diggle kill a limo driver right before Oliver stopped

And Laurel saying "I feel good about the future" one week after Tommy's tragic death. Must have been a great kiss!

You know, Cisco has outfitted about half the tech-based supers we know. Maybe he should have given powerless Barry - and anybody else on the team who wanted - a cold gun or sonic-cry device or whatever. Might help with the supervillain. Sometimes they forget the resources they have. Well, not sometimes - always.
