I’ll buy it for the same reason I buy everything else: to remind the scrubs that I’m affluent and give them something else to be salty about.

Idea: Games can opt-out of refunds, and short games can just continue to not make money the way they do now instead of worrying about how they’d hypothetically not make money in a different system

Netflix ($8.65/month) + Amazon Prime ($49/year at student rate or $4.08/month) + Sling TV with HBO Now ($37.88/month) + 50mbps fiber from a local company ($50/month) = $100.61/month

Don't know how I feel about this. I both loved and hated this game for the 2 months I played it. Really wanted it to be more than it was, but was ultimately left disappointed. C'est la vie. Bring on TES VI.

I inadvertently had to play vegetarian mode a couple times when I first installed the Pixelmon mod (all mobs are replaced with Pokemon). The only thing worse than growing your own wheat is trying to find a Flaafy or a Mareep so you can get the wool drop to build a bed.

He looks like Eddie from the Iron Maiden album covers

If you're the type of gamer that likes brisk, punchy experiences, I'd go with X & Y. The pace of these games are very tight, and you'll never feel like you're slogging through them. As great as ORAS are, the same cannot always be said for them.

You get the Latios/Latias (along with its mega stone) through the course of the story, before you get the eon flute that lets you fly around. When you take off for flight, it mega evolves, so I don't think it'd work without the mega stone (although the game literally gives you both of these things before it gives you

There's something more to Uxie/Mespirit/Azelf that I can't figure out. I got Mespirit last night, and 12 hours have passed but the option to go through the portal hasn't reappeared. I have max happiness Pokemon too, so that's not it.

Wow, that's crazy, man.

Yea, I feel bad for people out in the sticks. Growing up, I lived in a small town about an hour and a half outside of Houston, and the odds of me getting that ticket would have been nil.

I'm joining a Pokemon Play! league just so I can get it. I live in Dallas, though, so it's not like it's hard to find other people.

I have 500+ hours in Civ III-V (Civ V is around 750). That's been a constant since I got the first Civ for Super Nintendo when I was 12 years old. I got Beyond Earth but I haven't been as enthusiastic as I am about it as I am about regular Civ.

First rule of being spy - DO NOT GET STOPPED BY THE POLICE.

Rumor has it they want to bring Spidey back into the Marvel movie fold, possibly for Civil War. There'd have to be some sort of mutual agreement reached between Sony/Disney, but the current Spidey franchise *puts on sunglasses* doesn't have any legs.

Now playing

I like playing with archipelago maps for some reason, so strategically, William is my dude, but secretly, I want to be Harald Bluetooth. Vikings are my jam.

There's a lot of fancy schmancy blenders on here, and that's great and all if you're some kind of smoothie guy or whatever, but let me present to you this:

I make a chile sauce with the dried chiles before I make the chili. I take the dried chiles (usually a combo of ancho and japones or arbol) and tear them up, toast them, soak them in hot water for a half hour, then throw them in the blender with fresh black pepper, toasted cumin seeds, roasted jalapenos, a can of
