This is about the only thing I don’t like about Nagy. Other than his fixation on the double doink, everything else about the rebirth of the Bears has been fun to experience. But I wonder about the long lasting effects of being so anal about the kicking game.

The Hawks definitley should have won the Cup in 2014. The were clearly one of the two top teams that year and would have blasted the Rangers about as badly as the Kings did. The Kings just beat them.

Smartass stuff aside, this is an excellent explanation.

Hoiseted on his own petard, i think was the way the Romans put it.

We????????????????????????

Religious education is the absolute worst. Not only do you have people without any concept of sexual awareness or common sense, you also have a predominance of people who just don’t know how to be teachers of any subject at all.

+1

Maybe we should go back to the good old days of refs like Ron Wickes or Bill Friday who would put the whistles away from the start of the game and just let the teams murder each other all night.

While it is probably true that this has been a year where there have been a few “big” calls that impacted games, I don’t really think that this is one of them. While it’s pretty clear that the Bruins guy got hit from behind, there also was another Bruins play on the body of the Blues guy who made the contact which

Definition of a shot on goal is one that would go into the net if there was no goaltender to stop it. Crossbars and goal posts do not count as shots unless they bounce into the net.

Hear Hear!!!

Don’t know about the flags but that guy is a GREAT anthem singer.

This is really great.  But the NHL did this two two ref pairs during the playoffs this year( Sharks five minute power play and Sharks hand pass goal)   .  Now that’s accounatbility

As someone who used to spend time in the second balcony of the old Chicago Stadium and witnessed on several occasions random acts of urination when the standing room only crowds made making your way to the toilet problematic......  it’s beer.

It is one of the purer sounds of the game. In the old days, when the bottom of the net was metal, sometimes a goal would go in and you would hear a loud clang when the puck in the metal. Doug Wilson, when he was a defenseman for the Blackhawks, used to score these goals on the power play where you wouldn’t see it go

i remember seeing this guy play with the Kane County Cougars when he was in A ball and he hit two of the most gigantic homers I’ve ever seen.

You are right.

I totally agree on Jackie Brown. A great book and a great movie.

yeah, but what about the two guys who fought each other over a chair?

Thank you from all Chicago Blackhawks fans.
