Absolute worst movie I have ever seen in my life.   Not a redeeming aspect on any level.  Heavy handed and indulgent.  Catholic propaganda of the highest order.  

Acutally, it made the rivalries more intense. Each team played the other 14 times and travelled by trains. Each city had their nights and it all rotated. Chicago had Wednesday and Sunday, Montreal and Toronto had Tuesday and Saturday. New York and Boston had Monday and Thursday.

I really started following hockey in the mid to late 60's so by then Lindsay was already retired. But I used to see him on broadcasts and listen to his commentary and really developed an appreciation for the guy and all he did.

You are correct about that.  And who schedules the last epsiode of True Detective on the same night as the Oscars.  Usually, my wife and I scour the local theatres so we can see all the nominated films and nominees but this year, the only one we saw was Black Panther and that was in the summertime.  Couldn’t care less…

Between the Blues being on their 11 gamer and the Blackhawks winning 10 out of 12, it’s been a pretty interesting month in the Central.  And now with Crawford about to come back for Chicago, the Predators and Jets may need to keep their heads up come playoff time.

This is a truism.   Suchet is without peer but Finney is outstanding in that movie.  It’s like watching Jeremy Brett play Sherlock Holmes.   Finney WAS Poirot.

Anybody who saw the Bears play the Rams a few weeks ago knew that the Rams could be had if properly schemed against. If the Bears had a kicker, the Rams might not have gotten out of the second round.

I’m sure all the applicants will be kicking indoor at the practice facility at least for part of the time, although taking them out on the practice field at Halas Hall would be a unique tryout.
