I like it.
I like it.
Don’t forget LaStella.... gotta play him over Bryant, Rizzo, Baez.......
POINT OF ORDER, MR SPEAKER. POINT OF ORDER.
POINT OF ORDER , MR. SPEAKER! POINT OF ORDER!
Maddon has been the manager three years and the Cubs have made it to the NLCS every year. But, in Chicago, if you don’t win every baseball game by 10 runs or football game by 40 points, you’re awful.
You just figured this out now? At least we’re not listening to Ernie Johnson Jr. for the NLCS. I feel bad for Darling, who is actually pretty good.
In response to all my Cubs hating friends, in order to win the World Series, you have to PLAY in the World Series.
Boy, isn’t this the truth. Just ask Mark Prior and Kerry Wood about managing the pitching staff and see what they say about Dusty.
As far as I am concerned, this guy Wieters sucks ass for the way he went crying to the umpires after the passed ball incident. “He tipped the pitch” No, he didn’t. “Well..... he hit me with the bat” Yeah but that’s your fault.
this is a good one too.
I can’t think of any team that had two of their superstars just up and quit because their team was lousy. No major injury, no old age. Just “I ain’t playing no more.”
This is like the greatest logo of all time.
Actually, it’s kind of cool to wear an old jersey number with somebody else’s name on it. The looks you get can be priceless.
At the Blackhawsk store in North Aurora, they have a whole rack of jerseys dedicated to players who are no longer with the team. At the end of the year, they were selling them BOGO. It’s super rare for guys to come back to a team after they’ve been traded except in end of career circumstances (which may be true in…
I said this elsewhere earlier this morning but reports of the Blackhawks death seem to have been greatly exaggerated.
I agree wholeheartedly. Royal blue and Yellow Gold.

My vote here goes to The Towering Inferno. An oldie but a goodie. Paul Newman and Steve McQueen standing side by side. Doesn’t get any better than that.
Boy, you learn something new here every day. Thanks +1
Boy, this is truth of the ultimate true. I was watching the game and noticed that they panned the bench only once or twice so as to not see the look on Coach Q’s face during the ceremony. I can’t believe that he’s not a bit embarrassed about the way they handled the situation.
